Residence Inn by Marriott Galveston Island

Great place to stay if you're coming down for the beach. The hotel was clean, and the staff was super friendly. Free breakfast in the morning was great, and on-site laundry, which you have to pay for, was very useful. The rooms were clean and had a full kitchen with a microwave, dishwasher, and fridge with plates, silverware, and glassware.

Great room, would stay again

The room was clean and spacious with very friendly staff. There was a great variety of breakfast items. The pool was well maintained and the outside showers were needed for after visiting the beach which is located across the street.

Best place ive been in this island

The room was very clean and had everything we needed in the mini-kitchen. Check-in was fast, efficient, and the guy working the afternoon front desk was very courteous, happy and pleasure to deal with. Breakfast was great, fresh and the menu changed slightly for the second day. All in all a great job by everyone involved, we will stay there again.

Loved the room and breakfast.. pool was closed for a few hours on the 4th but opened later that evening. Hot tub was broken for a few days but fixed before we left. Clean, nice staff.

The front desk personnel, especially the lady with the reddish hair, were very helpful!! It was very clean! Breakfast hosts were very helpful! One question about breakfast: why no muffins or pastries?

I only consider the cleanliness of the bedroom to be inadequate. One day, no one cleaned it up

Best stay I’ve had in Galveston! Hotel was amazingly clean, new facilities, very professional and helpful staff, and conveniently located in front of the beach! Private pool is easily accessible and fitness facility was spotless. Most importantly, the hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure guests had a wonderful experience. Will definitely return and stay with them again!

It was a great stay

Everything was great. Best hotel I’ve stayed at in Galveston thus far. This is definitely gonna be my go to hotel any time I’m in town. Room was spacious and clean, breakfast was good, 10/10.

The sidewalks are sloping away from the building and it's very easy to fall if you are walking parallel to the building. My wife fell twice and I fell once. Not good when you are 60 years old. We loved the room and the staff was amazing.

Next to the Sea Wall and lots of resturants.
