Location was perfect Booking.com had the hotel having bedrooms. But all is well not the hotels fault.

The free breakfast was good with a large variety of options. The location is very close to the beach. Attractions such as Rain Forest Cafe and Moody Gardens are a short grove away. You can easily reach the front desk, the first night you arrive they send you a text and inform you to text that number and for the most part they were timely and responsive. The pool has a splash pad area for small kids and is heated. Because the location is on a busy street if you are looking for quiet. The walls were thin. One night we were awakened by a couple next door having a really good time if you know what I mean. The person above us sounded like they were having a fashion show every night. There is no central air. Our room had a rusty wall unit that I slept right next to and it was very uncomfortable. I asked housekeeping the day of checkin could we have housekeeping services the next day. I even informed them when we left. When we came back the room had not been addressed. I messaged them on the message line where they had been very responsive prior to inform them we found a baby roach in the bathroom. They did not respond, by that time I was just ready to go home.

Front staff was terrible maybe not all but the girl who greeted me was the worst she even wanted turned me away at 3 understanding because checking is at 4 but went back at 4 and she tried to make me come back later because supposedly my room wasn’t ready and not only that she had welcomed so many other guest after she turned me away the first time i truly believe it was because i booked through a third party either way I will never stay they it was my solo day trip away from kids work life and it was just not what I expected. That is all I have to say about that.

The location was great and the room was spacious and well equipped and plenty of storage. The breakfast was very good. The bathroom was tight and if sleeping 6 could have been interesting!

Me and my family loved the breakfast. Had alot of good options. The hallways were always super hot.
-
The room was very big and accommodating for my family of five.. Breakfast was better than average.. The balcony was nice except for the lights left on at night (I like darkness so I can relax and enjoy the ocean scene) The pool was nice except for the first night the sprinklers and filter was off- the next day it was back on.. For the price it was well worth it.. Staff was nice and accommodating I asked for a high floor and they gave me the highest one.. Parking is $20 a night I thought that was silly if your a guest but not the workers fault.. I would stay here again we enjoyed our short getaway

Drove 6 hours to my hotel and they gave me a hotel with no working AC. I put a complaint to get reimbursed for at least the night the AC was not working, but keep in mind the next day was awful because we didn’t have enough rest. I wish they would do the right thing and give a refund or offer a new free stay the next time I have to go to Houston.
