Fabulous hotel! By far the prettiest and most luxurious hotel in Galveston! The balcony views are amazing and this hotel delivers exceptional quality, cleanliness, service and value! I love the bibles in hotel rooms!

The outdoor pool/hot tub was perfect for unwinding after exploring all day. 10/10 would go back

Enjoyed our 4th of July weekend at the San Luis Resort, but two issues. 1) We could not find any pool seating because about 25% of the total available lounge chairs by the pool were unavailable due to paid reservations for pool seating. Many of them were unused throughout most of the day. They should offer fewer paid reserve seats and limit that to 4 hours periods. 2) Our outdated room had moist carpet and bathroom counters too low for the shortest people.

Recently stayed here on a short girl's weekend with my mom & sisters - just 2 nights so we checked in early to spend the day at the pool. We spent just a few minutes in the room to change and then was out and about all day. When we finally returned to the room at night, we noticed the shower door had mold/mildew in the caulking and there was a wad of hair stuck to the shower wall. Our toilet was also running continuously. We complained to the front desk and they immediately moved us to a different room and reversed some of our charges. The next room did not have the mold/mildew issue but we did find a very long hair (we all have very short hair) in the sink. The mirrors and wall next to the sink were also dirty. Plus our TV had been disconnected. We were too tired to move again so we figured out how to hook the TV back up ourselves and let the front desk know about the room cleanliness in the morning. They immediately sent housekeeping back up to re-clean our room. There seems to be some inconsistency in the housekeeping. However, the staff (from front desk to valet to pool side waitresses) was exceptional. Every person we encountered was extremely friendly and had great service. They also were gracious and genuinely apologetic when confronted with the housekeeping issues. I would stay here again but would definitely have a valet check out every aspect of the room with me before accepting the room.

Everything was beautiful

I don't go back to that hotel anymore, they gave me the room at 6 in the afternoon because it was ready when it should have been at 4, the next day they woke me up because from 10 am they start knocking on the doors who clean.

Always a treat to stay The suite we ordered wasn’t available and was misleading.

We were in a VIP king room on the top floor 16th, everything was clean and fresh and wonderful. They had fresh fruit and coffee and juice and croissants in the morning. Room Service food was delicious. The staff is very helpful and amazing. Pool service was excellent as always!!

When checking in. Hotel staff greeted with a friendly smile. Front desk Rianna checked us in. Explain, the hotel stay and its amenities to us. Checked in room, room had a view of the seawall. It was beautiful and room was clean. Our stay was amazing! We will be back.

Piscina no es muy grande comparado a la cantidad de habitaciones. No había sillas disponibles.Los cuartos necesitan remodelación. Las almohadas no eran cómodas. La tubería del lavamanos olía mal. En fin siendo generoso le doy 3 estrellas de 5.

We stayed for the weekend. Loved the proximity to the beach. The pool wasn't crazy deep so it was excellent to relax in after a long day. Loved the café and dining options as well inside of the property. Plenty of fun activities for kids as well.

We stay here at least twice a year. Sometimes on the club 10 floor, sometimes random king or double queen rooms. Everything is always maintained nicely but the only "gripe" is the shower doors never close all the way. We end up needed extra towels to keep the floor dry. That's literally the only thing I can think of to complain about, everything is top notch!
