This was our 3rd stay at the George Manor. Graham, Valerie, Rosie and Michael are exceptional. They are very attentive, professional and go above and beyond. The grounds are well kept, the room clean and the food delicious. This will always be our go to when in Galveston.

The property was beautiful and the hosts were absolutely amazing! We will definitely be back.

I can’t express how happy I was with my stay at the George Mannor, my sister and I stayed 3 nights and it was the best experience I ever had at an overnight stay. The rooms were super clean and the bed was comfortable. It was in walking distance of a great Mexican restaurant and the downtown stipe and the ocean! The staff was super friendly and the Breakfast by Michel the chef was outstanding! The best omelette I ever had. And the pastries brought in were so good also. The owner was so nice and so down to earth and easy to talk to. I would recommend this place to anybody who wants a luxury stay.

Will definitely stay here again.

Home away from home! Rosie greeted me as if i was a family member and made sure we had everything we needed and more! Traveling with a toddler is not for the weak but they had everything we needed and more. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, we had great sleep after being outside all day. Very clean suite with all the things you’d need for a stay. Even sitting outside on the porch was enjoyable because of the beautiful garden. Breakfast was very good!chef Michael is very nice and made us an English breakfast and brought out some amazing pastries. Even this picky toddler was happy! The whole time we were very comfortable and happy with our stay. There was no smell, not hot, ac worked very well! The ice machine was a bonus! Absolutely amazing hospitality here, it makes you not even want to leave! The common area is kept very beautiful, i wish i had enjoyed it more but i was too tired from all the activities. If i come back to Galveston im staying here again because i loved it! Thank you so much for having us this week.

Absolutely loved my stay here. The personal experience of the staff made it feel as if we were long lost friends. Lots of travel advice- that we happily took and adjusted our travel itineraries. It was wonderful to learn the history and how this amazing place came to be in Texas - not New England ! Wow - can’t wait to head back

The property was beautiful! The staff was very friendly. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay before our cruise. We will definitely be back!

This experience was amazing. Michael's hospitality was truly out of this world. I highly recommend The George Manor for your stay in galveston. The room was outstanding and the whole place had such ambiance.

Michael met us when we entered the beautiful property, took us to our suite and answered any questions we had. We enjoyed a great breakfast waiting for us the next morning and an engaging lovely conversation with Mr. George. The location is in the beautiful historic district. D is ideal for visiting Galveston. It is only a few blocks to the cruise port. We would definitely stay here again !

Felt like location was secure with the gate around the property and its proximity to the seawall and The Strand not far away A few of my bathroom towels weren’t clean

The George Manor is a beautifully restored Bed and Breakfast. It was a pleasure to get to know the owner and staff. Awesome people, with awesome stories! Very nice dining area with a parlor and full bar. Step back into the 20s, 30’s, and 40’s. It has a very historical feel. There were complimentary water, drinks, and snacks in the room. The bed in the White Room is excellent. There was a communal shower for the room we were in, but we did not share with any other guests during our stay. Treat yourself to the wonderful 5-Star worthy breakfast. If you are coming to Galveston for a cruise, The George Manor has a secure parking lot that guests can use at a reasonable cost. The owner drove us to the cruise terminal. It was very easy and stress free.

Breakfast
-
There is a live in chef onsite and he prepares your breakfast as you want it. He does a wonderful authentic English breakfast and will serve dinner and an authentic English afternoon tea if you reserve them. Nothing is perfect. The lighting in the suite was dim. We encountered roaches that could easily be corrected with solid pest control. There was still painting and renovation going on to the front of the manor and the lawn was in need of mowing. However, it has been very wet weather for several weeks so it’s understandable. None of this would keep us from returning again on our next trip to Galveston. We really enjoyed our stay at the George Manor.

We loved our stay at the George Manor. Our room was very clean and spacious, the property is very well kept and Chef Michael and his wife Rosie are very kind and accommodating. He graciously gave us a tour of the property while sharing its history. The location was perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast as well. We highly recommend it!

Exceptional
-
Excellent staff, chef, beds comfy, and grounds charming. We were treated like royalty. Food presentation, service we 1st floor has steps and my walker is large and it was difficult ult going in and out. Michael came and helped us but we were uncomfortable... it is notorious should not be his responsibility.
-
Rosie and Michael were unbelievable- Rosie made us feel at home immediately as we entered the Manor. The location was perfect for the area of Galveston that we were exploring. We enjoyed our visit - so much was because of the George Manor, their staff, and the porches with rocking chairs. We are so thankful we stayed there.
