The Mansion on 17th

Breakfast and social hour was great experiences. We met so many fun couples during our stay. Room was fantastic with a comfortable bed. We stayed in the only room on first floor. Only down side was creaking stairs outside room when other guests were coming down for breakfast.

What a wonderful place to stay! The rooms were very clean and the place was gorgeous. Everyone who worked there was wonderful and very helpful! I would 100% stay again.

The only downside was that our room was on one of the upper floors, and there was no elevator. Carrying luggage up several flights of stairs was quite difficult. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Great spot. Excellent hosts. The bedroom was very nice (we had the balcony) and the downstairs space was very nice too. Afternoon beer and wine in the house bar a plus and a fantastic home cooked custom breakfast. Definitely recommend the Mansion!

They offered to take us 1.5 miles to the port for $30. We luckily found a Lyft for only $13. Otherwise, it was a cool house.

Quiet and quaint!!

Lovely OLD home... pictures relay this beautifully. Not your typical amenities (no mini frig or microwave)... however, a delightful breakfast and very nice stay.

Everything about this place is immaculate. From the perfect breakfast, happy hour drinks, beautifully decorated and equipped bed and common rooms everything is geared to giving guests a sense of refined comfort. Sit on the veranda with a drink and you're in another world. On top of that the staff were lovely. Nothing, we loved it.

Everything was absolutely amazing! The mansion itself, the rooms, and definitely the staff!! Aaron, the concierge, was so friendly and full of information! They have a complimentary happy hour, delicious breakfast w/ french press coffee that was the best I've had(the ladies running breakfast were so amazing)! The bedrooms were beautiful! As soon as you step in the door you're taken back in time living in luxury!! We will 100% stay again! We had no complaints about our stay!

I really liked the fact that it felt like home. The house is gorgeous. The staff is wonderful. I will be going back. What I didn’t like is I think the breakfast should be extended to 11 o’clock or 11:30 AM?

From opening the door to enter to handing the keys to leave, it was the most enjoyable stay we’ve had in a very long time. Loved hearing some of the history of this place

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Staff was wonderful. The room was beautifully appointed. Breakfast was first class. We met guests from all over and had a great time.

The history and location. Aaron was great. There’s a bit of maintenance needed. Door handles loose no coffee in the room and only decaf in the lobby

Beautiful area and staff was great

Beautifully restored/maintained 1800's property with all the niceties. We stayed here as a stopover during travel before boarding our cruise out of the Port of Galveston near by. The staff made us feel welcome, was very accommodating of our arrival delay and took the time to make sure we knew where all the comforts were and that we were well settled. Breakfast was amazing and fresh. We will definitely stay here anytime we visit Galveston!
