The location is very close to Historic District. The staff were very friendly. The bed was comfortable. I am not familiar with the location so that was on me. I was also aware that the hotel was on the cheaper side considering the location. And it was at a ‘discount’ for the stay. The reviews seemed good. And I wasn’t expecting a name brand hotel given the price. However, the room was not very clean. There was mold on the windows, broken door hanger, broken toilet roll holder, no drain stopper in bathroom sink. You could see the mildew down the drain. Stains on the towels. The room smelled like smoke, which smoking isn’t allowed, and mold. There was paint peeling off the walls. You could see dirt built up in the corners of the bathroom. The refrigerator, freezer compartment had mold in it. The most horrible part was we found a roach crawling in the bed very late in the night. We almost left however it was too late to find another hotel. The staff did change out the sheets. We were gone the majority of the day and left as early as we could to travel back home. I understand that this hotel isn’t a five star hotel however, advertising is very misleading. It’s not luxury by any means. And the price per night although very cheap, it should have been more clean than it was. I could have dealt with the shabbiness of the room itself, but the roach, smell, and the cleanliness of the room unfortunately was quite a disappointment.

Location, close to the historical district. The elevator was clearly broken in some way. We took the stairs everyday and there was a giant toe nail that never got picked up in the stairwell. Breakfast was a complete joke. Nasty coffee, cereal, stale muffins. Only “hot” item was mid waffles. Basically they only provided CARBs, no protein, fruits or veggies. Paid too much for that trash breakfast.

The pool has been closed, which is not shown on your website or theirs. The bathroom door didn't shut. The breakfast didn't have non-dairy or lactose free milk, so there were few choices for lactose-intolerant people. There are millions of us in this country.

The hotel itself has a nice parking, outside of the building well maintained. Staff was nice and check-in was easy. Our room was on the third floor; we were met with a strong smell of mold and humidity, the room was the same. It looked nice, paint looked fresh, furniture recent, etc. We could see the mold and dust blocking the vent in the bathroom, and the ones in the bedroom were circled up with a ring of the same matter. A few flies and insects were noticed the next morning. Needless to say we didn't stick around for breakfast.

Passable

Very limited breakfast. Shower was meh. Room was small. Maybe for a vacation those things would bother me, but I was very happy with the visit.

Bed was comfy The pool was not there Was the biggest let down. The room had a musty smell wen we arrived. The elevator needed to be checked out. The fridge did not get very cold. Tv remote half worked. The water pressure sucked.

This place is NOT as advertised. Far from a luxury hotel, it’s an overpriced @Motel 6. The rooms walk odd mold. The window has no curtains with a shade that does not cover the entire surface area odd the glass. The box springs still had the primal plastic wrapping. Or looks tacky. The shower head was plugged provide a faint water stream. The place is a wanna be. DRIP THE PRICE. I don’t care where you are. Never again…
