Location was pretty good. The woman checking me in was very nice. Environment was overall pretty cute. Room smelled funky. Not in great shape as it had peeling on the wall. Water pressure in shower was horrible. I was honestly uncomfortable. Felt like bugs were going to be crawling on me all night.

chose the room with a balcony mountain view, paid 139 for 2 nights! the room was really spacious. the inn is on a hill overlooking downtown. the Ober gondola goes right over the property with the lift house less than a 2 min walk away. all the shops downtown are only a short walk away too they did not mention there was no front desk and you have to check in at a hotel down the hill. it was not far though.

Based on the value, it was clean and the jacuzzi tub was great. The views were great, the privacy was wonderful, and sleep was bliss. Great value and I loved my stay, even running into the bear between my car and the front door after 11:00 PM. The decor is dated, but the renovation needed will significantly raise the price. The linoleum is fairly old, but the updated portion near the jacuzzi is really spectacular.

We always love coming to the Chalet! The location is perfect and staff is always nice and accommodating. Nothing that we didn’t like.

Our stay was okay. The cabin was clean and had the basic amenities we needed for the weekend. The location was convenient, and check-in was easy. However, there were a few details that could be improved to make the stay more comfortable. Overall, it was an average experience—nothing particularly special, but it met our basic needs.

Location was great - the price for a room that was the size of a studio apartment plus a beautiful Mountain View from your personal balcony can’t be beat. The parking is a little difficult and unless you’re able to get a room that aligns just right with your parking spot you might have to make several trips up/down stairs etc

Very close to town, was able to leave our car and walk to most Gatlinburg locations. Room was very affordable and staff were friendly and helpful. Room was old, outdated and in desperate need of repairs and upgrades. Shower faucet had a constant drip, room had an “old” musty smell. Our room keys were de-activated 2 hours before check out. Balcony was dirty/dusty and in need of upgrades the chairs were old and uncomfortable. The pictures shown were definitely NOT an accurate representation of the facility. If booking this “fabulous” Chalet just be warned you are getting what you paid for. This was not the fault of the facility but we did encounter a very large bear when walking back to our room.
