Super 8 by Wyndham Downtown Gatlinburg at Convention Center

Got charged 3times when I made the reservation I called the property to make sure that I had booked 2rooms connecting they told me I had when I got there they told me I had only booked one room the person was hard to understand anyway I got another room was changed 3 times on cc and the rooms were not connected also I have a service dog and she told me that my service dog had to be out side I told her that my service dog doesn’t leave my side then she told me again that my service dog was not allowed in the building the other problem I had is when I left my room and came back a few hours later my bathroom floor had water all over the floor i didn’t see a leak anywhere so there should not have been water on the floor this had happened again when I left a second time

Staff was very nice great location great price Our room had a weird smell(like musty, damp smell)

Location was decent The property looks nothing like the photos. The room was small and smelly. There were stains on the curtains and mattress. The chair in the room must have had 10 years of dust sitting on top of it. The staff was incredibly challenging and defensive.

The water got very hot and water pressure was strong And the bed was very comfortable The breakfast offered was very limited compared to other super 8s we have stayed at

The staff was very nice & friendly when we arrived! The advertisement of the hotel, rooms (ALL), overall look of the hotel was not what was shown on booking.com. I booked a King room, that said it had a dryer in it with other amenities that were not at all in the room I booked!! The room was very small, smelled, and the furniture was extremely old, I would not recommend this location in Gatlinburg unless you view the property first & the room you're wanting to stay in.. They kept $170 of my money & still have not received my refund for paying for a room at check-in to check right out within 5 mins due to false advertisement. A big learning experience. The lady who checked us in understood our concerns & was so very pleasant when we decided not to stay. The staff gets a 5 star rating. Hotel rooms in person compared to book.com or Expedia.com are not what you think you're getting!! No need to share a photo, as we literally walked in & right out!! I truly blame the websites & hotel for not promoting their true hotel rooms & overall property.

We had a nice, comfortable stay here. The location was great for walking downtown, and it was surprisingly quiet at night. Our dogs enjoyed the outdoor area and the breakfast was good. The choices were a little limited but better than most places. We can't complain about that. We would definitely stay here again.

Within walking distance to town. It's about the only good thing about it. Had to kill roaches the whole time. Front desk person was not friendly at all. Parking was full the last night and we had to park at the very end of the lot. Very scary for 2 ladies.

Stay, Room, and Staff was great. Could use a little cleaning up around the property, some miscellaneous trash and debris around the property needs to be thrown away. Miscellaneous items and debris around the property needs to be thrown away and disposed of to make the property look better.

Close to downtown and we saw bears every night. The beds were so uncomfortable. We have stayed at this hotel before and the beds were better. The inside was kinda worn out. Needs a good cleaning.

I liked the cleanliness and the furniture and air conditioning and continental breakfast and location close to plenty of dog friendly shops and friendly restaurants I didn't like the weekend staff attitude I felt like they didn't care about my complaints which were that the faucet in the bathroom would pull away fron the wall, coffee maker didn't work, no alarm clock, security light at the door didn't work, floor had gaps in it that I almost tripped over, outlet cover not attached to the wall

This is a very sketchy place, people appear to be living there; the exterior doors lined with intoxicated people, smoke everywhere seeping into rooms. The room was awful mold smell and nasty AC questionable stains on bed, ironing board and linen in the bathroom. The front staff weren’t on site and wouldn’t answer the phone to even try and resolve these concerns despite multiple attempts

Nice clean rooms. Bed and pillows were so comfortable. Staff was wonderful. We have stayed here several times in the past. Never been dissatisfied.

Great location, free parking and a quiet and clean room. The breakfast wasn't fit for purpose so I walked out and headed on to the open road.

Great location! We loved being able to walk all over Gatlinburg. Beds are really small and uncomfortable but not terrible!
