Renaissance Chicago Glenview Suites Hotel

Air conditioning out in room first night and only discovered after completely unpacking for a 5 night stay only to have woman at front desk who's name started w/a D hang up on me as I was venting my disappointment w/the issue saying "well you booked on Expedia*. Really not sure what that meant. Maybe that somehow how I should have expected such poor customer accomodations/service and overall hospitality !?!?

Elf at front desk was absolutely amazing! I’m a flight attendant and got in late in my uniform. He recognized my uniform and was so welcoming and kind! He realizes our long days. He was able to get me free breakfast and extra waters. After traveling all day it was a breath of fresh air to meet such a kind human being! I felt taken care of in every way! Thank you Elf for the warm welcome! You deserve a raise! They are lucky to have you! Hotel as well beautiful!

Exactly what we hoped. Met all expectations for a suite to hold 5

Nice stay for the night, just needed clean linen and was provided with it right away.

Room was clean, comfortable and very spacious.

We enjoy the facility because of the friendly staff, the quietness of environment/area and the nice distance from downtown. Thank you!

Very noisy had to ask the front desk to talk to the group. It was the first time I’ve had to complain. Very disappointing

Hotel staff was really nice, the rooms are beautiful and the layout of the hotel is very nice. I would not recommend paying the $20 for breakfast. It’s only like four pots with eggs and others, nice location near a mall and stores. 24 seven Duncan ha ha

Apart from not having hot water for one day, it was a great hotel with plenty of parking.

Great place to stay! The rooms are all suites! You can tell it is an older Hotel but it is well maintained. It is convenient to shops, dining and the airport.

Boiler problems weekend of June 27th, no hot water for showers. Room was clean and comfortable. At the $130 a night I would still stay here again assuming there is no boiler problems and they have hot water. Always in Chicago the weekend of June 27th,

Beautiful

My biggest complaint is that we had no hot water. The hotel did end up refunding 1/2 of our fee, but made for a really unpleasant experience. We also asked for sheets for the pull out sofa and they never brought them and had some mold on the bathroom sink.

The front desk staff were super friendly and helpful.
