Best Western Glenview -Chicagoland Inn and Suites

The staff were very helpful and the room was clean. The mattress probably needed to be turned as it was a little sunken in on the left, but I moved to the middle and it was fine. My room faced the expressway, and you could hear traffic, but the air-conditioning helped to muffle the sound. Once I was asleep, I slept well. I would definitely stay there again, but request a room not facing the expressway!

Excellent breakfast

We've stayed at this property multiple times over the years and this will likely be our last stay as the experience has gone downhill from a couple of years ago. On the positive side, my kids love their free breakfast, the location is convenient for our family visits in the area, it has a nice gym, and the rooms that accommodate families of 5 are affordable and perfect for our family. Unfortunately...after the first night we noticed ants in our bedroom so they moved us to an alternative room for the remaining nights which was acceptable. But we continued to have annoyances with the property. The entrance through the back of the hotel did not require a card to enter which didn't seem safe. The phone in one of our rooms was not operational. The walls in the bedroom appeared dirty. We were disappointed to learn that breakfast hours had changed from 6-10a to 6-9a (even though the hotel info link still said 6-10a). The pool has permanently been closed and our final night included banging and running in the room above us at ~1am in the morning. We notified the front desk staff of the loud noises a couple of times yet the noise continued for quite some time making sleep difficult.

Location and cleanliness The pool was closed and I had no awareness of this. Had lightbulbs blinking near bed and need to be replaced. Noisy neighbors above us one night. Staff okay but do not go out of way to see if you need anything or enjoying your stay.

Overall this is not a place I would ever stay at again or recommend

Excellent location,property was clean,quiet, great rooms, breakfast, everything was wonderful.

The only negative is being so close to the tollway it can be loud if you're room is on that side. As for the breakfast it was something. The eggs were hot every morning.

Overall it was not bad. Just the staff were rude.

The best hotel in the area!! Rooms are always clean and well maintained. Everything modern and updated. Beds comfortable. Carpet clean. Staff friendly.

The room was clean and well appointed. However the bathrooms are on the small size. I would stay there again.

It was a convenient option while traveling but I was sold a room that maintenance staff still was activiely working and I also found a spider in my room as well.

Clean room

Arrived an hour early. Was told check-in is at 3 pm. I asked if there were any rooms available early. He replied, "3 pm." Rude. If he had said, "Sorry, we're maxxed out and have nothing available at the moment." That would have been acceptable. I had meetings, so I couldn't get into my room until 10:30 pm. The smoke detector had a plastic bag covering it, the floor was wet, and the AC was putting out a burning smell. Also, the back door was inaccessible.

Plus air conditioning unit too loud even with fan on low. As a result had to wear ear plugs. Not happy with that. Elevator floor dirty. Definitely would not stay there again.

First I arrived I turned on the heat and a burning smell came in the room. The staff was unreasonable and didn't give me a room that had a king sized bed that I paid for, they gave me queen instead I understand they didn't have rooms but they didn't even refund me the room because prices are different. Then the next day another staff was working very nice lady that gave me a king sized bed but still no refund. This isn't the first time I'm in this hotel this is my second and the experiences have always been awful. Last time I'm visiting here.
