Good location

Great location. Very clean, Breakfast was great with a yogurt machine even! Breakfast area was constantly watched for needed refills of food. Tables were cleaned immediately after guests left so new guests could sit at a clean table. Accommodating staff. Parking right outside hotel. Thank you for a great stay. We were most impressed and booked the very next weekend for 4 nights as we help our kids in the Chicago area.

I really thought the hotel was pretty decent, my biggest complaint, is it needs to be soundproof. It’s right next to a major highway. There was so much road noise. I hardly even slept. I stayed in a hotel on the opposite side of the road before and it wasn’t that noisy. Maybe had I been in a different room on the other side that wasn’t next to the highway, but they don’t let you reserve rooms. I got a great price on Expedia. But if I couldn’t request a specific room, I don’t think I will stay there again. I just hardly had any sleep. Could’ve used a new mattress also as I could feel where people previously laid. The property that itself the looks of the hotel. I really liked the layout of the room was good. But if I couldn’t request a specific room on the opposite side of the building, I don’t think I would stay there again. Staff were really nice and I would’ve asked for a different room, but I had a disabled adult who already got settled in by the time I realize how much noise they really was from the road. Like I said it was a major highway in the suburbs of Chicago. Oh well live and learn.

Booking.com and the guy at the front desk ruined my experience and cost me money. I will not be using booking or this hotel again. Booking says pay cash at the property. Property in fact does not accept cash. Guy at the front desk was rude. We called for early check in at 2pm. Lady on the phone said that was no issue. Guy at the front desk didn’t let a single person check in until 3:00 on the dot. So a line of 15 plus people all trying to check in at once. I tried calling customer service day of for booking but the hold time were incredibly long. Overall horrible experience. I want my money back. 0 out of 100

I guess you could say the room itself was nice and spacious, but it smelled really bad because the bathroom smell smelled bad and I had to keep the bathroom door closed at all times. There was only one towel in the room for bathing when I went to get another towel I was met with an attitude. Upon check and I confirmed that I was to have a late checkout then on the day of checkout at 11 AM I was locked out of my room and was told that they had no record of a late checkout and if I needed more than 45 minutes I needed to pay for an extra day which unfortunately I had to do. I had to pay for a whole entire other day to stay an additional 2 1/2 hours so that I could finish some work and prepare myself to leave without having to stress myself. This is definitely not the first time I’ve ever stayed in a hotel and I’ve been given deals in the past and the most I’ve ever had to pay for a late checkout was half price paying a full entire day for 2 1/2 extra hours was ridiculous. I was also feeling very pressured about having to pay that amount and when I asked if there was anybody, I could see, I was told that there was nobody available and that the person who was there needed the money immediately because she was going off shift for her birthday and her traveling to New York and she had to get it done before she left

Bathrooms are very small. A lot of road noise on back side of the hotel. Otherwise very nice.

It was the worst experience I’ve had with a hotel in my life. The front desk man was awful, a liar and a cheat.
