The room was clean with one big exception, when I walked into the room there was a huge bug in the bathroom. Not a roach, but something big. It was nearly dead so I just helped it and flushed it. Maybe useful for staff to walk through the room before handing it to the customer. Regardless, we had a very pleasant experience

We searched a lot of hotels prior to picking this one for our week long stay in the Chicago area. This hotel was not worth the price and I would not stay here again. Rooms were clean enough, but very dated, dark, and smelly. There were several things during our stay that made it unpleasant. The window didn't open, so we could air out the smell in the room. The sink/vanity counter was unusually tall, made using it very awkward. The bathroom with the toilet and shower was tiny and you had to maneuver around the toilet to shut the door. The hotel happened to be "updating" one of the two elevators, so using the elevator took extra long each time. A fire alarm went off in the middle of the night and we were evacuated for no apparent reason. The maid services were only so so, and we were tipping each day. One day they decided not to clean our room at all. When we inquired with the front desk they told us it was our fault for leaving the do not disturb sign up, which we had not. When we asked for clean towels since we hadn't had maid service for the day, they made us come down to the lobby to get them. If our stay was only for a few days I probably would have put up with the conditions of this hotel and not cared, but since it was a longer stay and so many things made our stay unsatisfactory I'm writing this review. In my opinion this is not a 4 star hotel, it's more like a 2. One thing that was nice was the water pressure in the shower!

Staff was attentive. Hotel needs some upgrades but it was maintained well outside of that

everything was really good. The room was really clean and ready to go when we arrived. It was pretty spacious and cool. I would recommend.

The front desk attendant that I believed was named MC, was amazing. Super helpful, kind, and accommodating.

Well decorated, everything i needed was there, staff was kind, clean, bed was comfortable.

First off they try and trick you with non-complimentary complimentary water, classic move. The room is nice. Good privacy. Good size. The location is a bit odd but gets the job done. Tried to find the pretty garden in the photo but couldn't :( a bit of a bummer. The pool in the basement was a bit odd to get to. Ive not been a fan of the 2 tower designs. It works for what you need. The restaurant looked nice but never went. Feels better for conferences or weddings than occasional stay.

Not very clean around the outdoor area where we attended a wedding. Pond definitely could use some tlc. Staff charged us extra to park in their parking lot but no other guests were asked to pay for a parking pass.

We liked our stay here, but felt that a better staff training is needed for the hotel to do better and succeed. We had three encounters with the registration desk staff. One staff was very professional and efficient. No issue. One other staff who checked us in was chatting with a staff at the next position, while checking us in. She didn't give us much attention or eye contact, rather she was busy carrying small talks with the colleague and giggling. As a result I felt ignored and felt like a second-class guest. The third staff simply provided the help we needed, but she lacked friendliness to go one step further or smile. I liked the hotel and I would like to see this hotel to do well. And that is the reason why I'm sharing these comments.

Great stay, definitely will be returning. Sad that the dinner buffet is no longer an option!
