All was just right for me.

We had a very good experience staying here. The property was located easily and provided easy access to the town. The daily breakfast offered a tasty variety each day, too. There were several activities within walking distance. The room was spacious for my family of 4. The property was clean and staff was very kind and accommodating. We did not have access to the hot tub in site due to it needing maintenance and our pool needed attention. But we were given access to the hot tub and pool in the neighboring hotel with just a short walk through the parking lot. Other than that, we very much enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

Room was decent and clean, outside of building was dirty and the windows were covered in filth (from outside) so looking out was not pleasant. Main hallway smelled horrible but didn’t affect the room. Ice maker did not work on third floor and pool was not pleasing as it was dark and never saw anyone actually using it. Room was a good size but just be aware this is not a “separate” bedroom as it’s described, it’s more of just an additional open space they put a tv and bed in, there is no privacy or door between the main room and bedroom.

I like breakfast

The breakfast was very good!! Their global is a variety of breakfast items. The property itself is maintained and very clean.
-
Great size room within walking distance to town. Breakfast was just ok, but nice having the option.
-
Delapidated hotel, with a very noisy A/C, making it impossible to sleep without earplugs

The person who checked us out was super nice and friendly! Appreciated his enthusiasm so early in the morning.

They are working on improving the property actively, nothing that spoiled our stay but they have multiple projects underway.

The hotel is well situated being within walking distance of a park and the Colorado River, the springs, restaurants, and a gondola that takes you to an amusement park and caves up a mountain. The Hotel Colorado is nearby and while we could never afford a room there, we could afford lunch. It's served on a nice shady patio and was delicious. If you're fit, it's an easy walk into downtown Glenwood Springs and the train station where Amtrak makes a regularly scheduled stop. There's also public transit if you need it to go further afield. There's a bike path along the river, so renting a bike would be worth it. There's also rafting down the Colorado as well.

When checking in on Friday evening, we learned that there were some "system problems" which caused a few delays. Not a big deal, as far as I was concerned. Less than 30 minutes after getting settled in our room, however, the same person that checked us in tried, not once, but 3 TIMES to reserve our room to another guest. That guest had already suffered the indignity of walking into their first assigned suite to find a stranger sitting on the bed. We, of course, made sure the door had every single interior lock engaged and a chair parked against it to prevent any surprises. Not a good first night. On Saturday night, after enjoying the town and the festivities all day, we returned to our room to find that our key cards no longer work. Upon inquiring with the person at the front desk, we learned that not only had they attempted to put yet another new guest in our room (who, to their surprise, found someone else's crap strewn about in it), but they no longer even had any record of us ever being at the hotel! It took an inordinate amount of exasperated debate to convince them that yes, we were actual guests and that we had the room reserved for the weekend. So another sleepless night with a barricaded door.

Unknown to me upon arrival there was remodeling in progress, pounding, banging and far from relaxing. The staff charged my card twice then cancelled the charge which resulted in my bank putting a hold on my card for days. I’ve since received a call at 9am telling me they would debit a second card on file if I didn’t call by 6pm the same day, however, they took it upon themselves to debit the wrong card by 9:41am not allowing me the time to get to my bank and have a new card printed since my bank thought there were erroneous charges. Very unhappy customer and I’ve been to Glenwood twice a year for the last 10 years. Won’t be going back to this Hotel!
