Rooms were clean!

Came here for a mother daughter getaway. The check-in staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Our room was quite spacious and clean with a mountain view. The location couldn't be beat. It was walking distance from the restaurants. The breakfast buffet offered options for kiddos to grownups. I loaded up on hot scrambled eggs. My mom made a beautiful waffle with fresh strawberry topping. The coffee was hot and flavorful. I will definitely book here again for future stays.

Front desk called the hotel phone at 2 in the morning because my next door neighbor reported a baby crying. I was alone and asleep, I do not have a baby and was very unhappy with the middle of the night phone call. A baby could be heard but I feel they should have walked the property to confirm location before just calling.

Brought up concerns to front desk only to be told they couldn’t do anything because I booked through a 3rd party. Will not be doing that again.

front desk staff very outgoing

Could have been great, but it was pretty good. Room was clean, bed was nice. Signs of poor maintenance everywhere though. Nothing major, mostly things that could have been easily fixed by someone who noticed and cared. Breakfast was a mixed bag: On one hand it was more extensive and varied than any hotel I have been in. However most of it was cold (even pretty early in the morning) and it was really unorganized. I wouldn't not go there because of anything I saw, but might look to see if I could do better.

The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly. We liked the location also.

quick and easy stay.

This place needs some money invested in it to update and make repairs For the most part it was clean minus the bugs that seasonally showed up in our room. The staff was great. Very noisy due to all the traffic in town.

I was very skeptical about staying at La Quinta, because we had a terrible experience at one in a different state. We were pleasantly surprised with the Glenwood Springs La Quinta. It was very clean, and that includes the outdoor patio. The staff was nice and Angel, the GM was pleasant and wanted to make sure our stay was wonderful. The building is old but had been updated and was adequate. We enjoyed the breakfast--it was the best breakfast we've experienced at similar hotels. Overall, we were very happy with our choice of this LaQuinta.

Everyone was helpful

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean. The breakfast was good each day. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was very nice. Good location for walking to the springs or across the bridge to excellent dining and shopping locations. THERE IS NO BAR AT THIS LOCATION.

Excellent hotel. We liked everything there.

Upkeep could have been better. Needs a refurbish job.

I usually stay at the Hampton Inn however, gave this hotel a try for the first time. I must say I was disappointed starting with the big stain that was on the side of the mattress , the dog barking continuously through the night, folks slamming doors, talking loudly, Continental was subpar and having to pay for parking. I will return to the Hampton Inn next-door my next visit to Glenwood.

Horrible hospitality. We asked at check-in if we could get a 45 min later check out the next day. They said sure just call in the morning. When we did they said there weren’t any more late check outs. They were incredibly rude and wouldn’t work with us at all. They continued to harass us until we did check out.

The pool and sauna are antiquated as well as the gym. Not sure how you change that though. The building overall is just older. The pool and sauna in the basement just feels gross.

Nice place to stay in Glenwood Springs. Easy walk into town and the baths.
