I liked that this hotel was walking distant to the Glenwood springs pool and downtown restaurants.

The hotel was high end and beautiful. The lobby was inviting and had an additional nice large room for sitting with a fireplace. Wonderful coffee restaurant on site and bar/restaurant on site was excellent. We stayed in a new room which was clean and well appointed. The only negative was that they explained in check in they only clean the room every 3 days which was fine, except they did not come on the 3rd day. Our trash cans were full. I requested clean towels which were brought to our room. On checkout I mentioned the lack of cleaning and she mentioned she might give us a room discount but we did not receive. I would stay again just make sure they stay on top of your room.

Everything is always great at this hotel!!

Since it is a 100 years old rooms are small and bathroom even smaller. But nice looking.

The bed was comfortable.

Beautiful hotel, great location for restaurants.

The staff consistently goes above and beyond. Joe & Kyra have all been exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful every time I’ve stayed. Their customer service truly makes you feel valued as a guest. The location is excellent, with an amazing coffee shop downstairs that’s perfect for grabbing breakfast before work, and the attached pub is a great place to unwind with good food after a busy day. If you’re traveling for business or just visiting Glenwood Springs, I highly recommend Hotel Maxwell Anderson. Great rooms, outstanding staff, and an unbeatable location. I’ll definitely continue staying here whenever I’m in town.

The parking situation is also inconvenient. Be aware that parking costs an additional $20 per night. 😁
-
Nice hotel in a very walkable area that’s one block over from restaurant row.
-
Was a very neat place the town was really fun lots to do within walking distance. Would definitely stay again!

Then I'm surprised by an additional charge when I get home. I contacted the hotel and was told they tell all guests that parking is "subject to a charge". However expedia didn't list this information nor was I informed at check in. Frustrating. Won't stay again.

I like to stay at a place with characters when it’s whining my price range and the place has everything from affordable prices, centrally located with a brewery restaurant and coffee shop attached to the front desk area and very walkable to restaurants and tourist attractions. Very cute place to stay. Free coffee in the room is a plus this day. You can also buy the glenwood pool tix from the front desk who offers a better deal than the resorts ($55 instead of $60 on weekends)

The water fountain was down but I say them giving water bottles at the front desk to some other guests so that was nice.

Beautifully restored historic hotel!

Great location, beautiful hotel.

We love this hotel and have been coming here for the last 10 years before the name change. The staff is great and the hotel ideally positioned to be a few blocks from both the pool and great restaurants like Juicy Lucy and the Pullman. A little disappointed this stay due to the roof repair in the atrium, but maintenance had to happen sometime....and the city's power outage for part of Sunday afternoon. By the way, the staff handled this unexpected mishap wonderfully.

It's my favorite hotel in Glenwood Springs; it's close to downtown and it's an easy walk over to the pool. You never need your car once you park and check in. The staff are incredibly helpful and nice.
