Harbor House Inn

Good location, most staff very helpful, Justin needs more training and better attitude.

One of our favorite parts of our stay was enjoying the continental breakfast on the screened-in porch. The peaceful setting and beautiful view of the lake made it the perfect way to start the day. We enjoyed our time here and would stay again the next time we’re in Grand Haven.

Location Completely run down property, dirty railings, trim , doors, musty smell. Needs better upkeeping. For the price it should be significantly better.

Loved the hospitality. Loved the staff. Breakfast was great. Parking is secure and easy to walk into Harbor House from the parking lot. I cannot think of anything I did not like

We stayed during off season but still had a wonderful time walking through the town and visiting the water and downtown area. Our room was very nice with a fireplace. comfortable bed and great water views. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was typical continental style but still very good.

I think they are doing well with the property limitations. No elevator and room was on 3rd floor. The bathroom was inadequate - whirlpool tub that was difficult to get in and out of; no instructions on how to use the shower; very small and old.

I requested a safety bar for the shower/tub and the staff responded quickly to my request. Quaint.

Perfect location and charming property

This place was so much nicer than a chain hotel. Our room was nicely decorated and comfortable, king size bed, fireplace and a large balcony overlooking the harbor. Continental breakfast in the lobby with other guests and a great cup of coffee is a great day starter. We have family living in Grand Haven so, we're sure to be staying again!

Horrible breakfast. The room was great but outdated. Cute and cozy but definitely not worth the amount.

It is also only 2 short blocks to the shopping area that have cool little shops, restraunts, bars, coffee shops, bakery, etc. the inn itself doesnt have an elavator that the guests can use, it doesn't say that on the website, which made getting to the room (3rd floor) challanging. The room was quaint, king bed, couple chairs, tv, full bath with the most powerful shower head i've used in a long time. The room had a faint musty smell when we got there, but it was in mid-may and i figured this may be due to us being the 1st guest to use the hvac unit this year (?), not sure. cute inn, has coffee and fresh baked cookies everyday from 4:00-9:00. coffee starting at 7:00am, cold breakfast 8:00-10:00 yummy cherry cake (this morning) Deb and the other lady working there were very nice and helpful. Only 1 vehicle allowed to park in the lot per party . It's an enjoyable place to stay, much more personal that a chain hotel.

I love this place

The amenities are wonderful and clean. The location couldn’t be better. We were able to tour the area, walking around to restaurants and seeing the sites.

The room was really nice, the bed were comfy, easy parking. Great location and access to everything downtown. The breakfast was very minimal but they provided snacks and coffee throughout the day. Overall an amazing place and would stay again.
