Enjoyed our stay in the modern spacious room with comfortable King bed. Many nice places to eat within 5min walk. DeVos Place about 15min walk. Recommend check-in and offload luggage at main hotel entrance ... then park your vehicle. Note that Parking structure is around the block (behind hotel and not connected), the hotel will charge parking to your room (providing you check-in first). Breakfast not included, but hotel has decent restaurant.

This hotel is centrally located in downtown with nearby restaurants and a quick ride to additional hot spots & eateries. The rooms are super clean & spacious. I love their rooftop lounge and working area in the lobby,

We payed over $500 for a room that did not have working lights in the entire bathroom section of the suite. It was also my wedding night so it was incredibly disappointing and I would not recommend staying here. Your money will go much farther elsewhere, they are overcharging you because of the location while not maintaining the quality for the price.

The room was beautiful and the staff was so friendly and accommodating!

Roof top restaurant had very limited menu options. Also, no blended whiskey at all. Plenty of sour mash, scotch, and bourbon but not a single blended whiskey.

I was disappointed with our stay at the Canopy in Grand Rapids. For the price we paid, I would have expected better. Housekeeping was an issue. When we arrived we had no handsoap in the room and I had to ask twice to get some. Also, after the first night, the maid only made up one of the two beds and didn't vacuum. The overall noise level made it difficult to sleep, even with a white noise machine running. Breakfast in the hotel was dry and unappetizing (the Canopy breakfast). As a relatively new building, the hotel was generally clean and in good repair. It is conveniently located and has plenty of available parking. However, it will not be my first choice next time I am in town.

Exceptional

Reserved a king but ended up with 2 queen beds. Hotel offered complimentary breakfast the next morning however wasn't able to use it due to a conference start time. Magnifying mirror on the wall in the bathroom had become unscrewed and was falling down. Otherwise 4.5 out of 5 stars. I've stayed here before and will continue to stay here when I'm in Grand Rapids

Valet was awesome about unloading car & service. Food was very good; had canopy breakfast & rooftop hamburger both delicious!

Top notch staff, very helpful and personable.

Beautiful property. Spacious rooms. Clean room. But they didn’t leave washcloths or creamer when cleaning the room. So we had to go to the lobby. Restaurant was great but slow. I’d definitely stay again.
