Lovely, clean rooms, good breakfast offerings.

The room was not cleaned well. There were the previous guests Bobby pins all over the floor, hair clips, dead bugs on the floor. The floor was sticky and the carpet stained and filthy. The pool was small but nice. Pool seemed clean. That said, they consistently had no towels and the towels they would provide were the size of large washcloths. I work in customer service and dislike having to leave negative reviews, but this one was worthy.

Very well maintained hotel. Rooms were nice. AC worked great. Pool was nice. Mon, Tues, Wed, small plates dinner was an added bonus. Would definitely stay here again.

Good location

Room and service persons were very polite and helpful. The outdoor pool was clean, supplied with towels and seating was plentiful. A Pavillion was avaliable.for seating and grilling facilities were available. Many options for breakfast was offered both hot and cold. Coffee, milk and juices. This is our 2nd year staying at this hotel.

The property itself was beautiful! The landscaping was lovely plus they had hanging baskets everywhere. The room itself was spacious, clean and so pretty. The breakfast was really nice with lots of different items not normally seen on a breakfast bar. The only downside to anything was the woman working the breakfast area did not speak English, only had one speed and several of us had to wait while she washed the dishes and refilled the bar. But overall, we very much enjoyed our stay and would love the chance to go back again!

Very friendly staff, nice lobby, breakfast area and courtyard with a pool, hot tub and BBQ area. Rooms are a little older, but still nice. Beds are comfortable, and airport shuttle available. Great stay I would recommend.

Good stay

Rooms were clean and comfortable . Location worked well for us Property was ok , desk staff was less than helpful . I had called requesting an early arrival a few days before , because we were driving in for a wedding . Wanted to get in so we could dress there and be fresh , as opposed to driving 3 hrs in our dress clothes . Was told we would have to call back in morning of arrival , but shouldn’t be a problem . I did call the morning of and was told me I would have to call back btw 10:30 & 11 , which would be too late as we would already be on the road . Also , Breakfast was crew was running behind , several items were not ready or out .

The room was nice. The breakfast choices were great. The tv didn't come in good. No TV guild. The hot tub was nice and hot but only one jet was working.

The location The pool was outside and not usable. The hot tub was broken. And the heat in our room didn’t work. Was not a great way to celebrate our 40th anniversary

I really liked the layout of the two bed/ two bath units and the outdoor recreational areas, very nice. Staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Bed was comfortable. Complimentary juice and cookies was a nice touch. Cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The room had a funny off-putting smell that was obviously trying to be covered up by housekeeping fragrance which was very overpowering throughout the hotel. Floors were not vacuumed and the tile sections were sticky in the entrance and bath. As a forner manager of housekeeping, I recommend work on sections of the hotel at a time doing deep cleans and shampooing; the carpets should be addressed immediately; every floor should be clean and not sticky or smelly upon check in. Urine spots were found around toilets and personal hair deposits were located around them as well. Mirrors and picture glass were dirty with toothpaste, soap spray and haze respectively visualized. None of our party were able to relax because of the overall condition of the room. Kitchenette did not have what we needed to cook (frying pan). Forced air climate control was imbalanced between rooms leaving some overheated and others freezing at night.

The rooms were always spotless, comfortable, and well maintained, and we really appreciated having a kitchen for longer stays. The breakfast was excellent, and we especially enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi, grill area, and the social dinners during the week. The entire staff made us feel at home, and we will absolutely stay here again whenever we visit Grand Rapids.
