Friendliest staff and our dogs were calm and happy and with us!

The young woman at front desk was very nice. We had an alarm go off from 12-4 in morning.second night. Went down and told man on duty. 3 times …I Said call fire department. It’s an alarm. I have Video at 3:30 in morning of where it was coming from. By the pool. In maintenance room. Right outside our room. We went from being woke up several times, to scared of what they didn’t call for help!!!! So we got no sleep. Man in charge acted tree were not truthful until I showed him video. Won’t ever return. Beware.

Easy check in and clean room

The hotel is beautiful! The staff was great! There was no food area but we were told they were remodeling

Most convenient hotel to public transit station and mall. Thank you, BDA Mings

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. 🏨 I wished that the housekeepers would've consistently checked to see if I needed my room cleaned. I met a couple of housekeepers in passing before I checked out of my hotel. I was in walking distance to a lot of restaurants and walked to a couple when the weather was nice and ordered in when the weather got hot and humid. They offered shuttle service and a shuttle took me to the a restaurant Anna's House for Breakfast and then took me to the airport. I really enjoyed my summer vacation in Grand Rapids.

Wonderful staff, clean rooms and no complaints here!

Staff super friendly

Unfortunately my stay was short since our flight was so delayed. Stayed in the room connecting to the pool and it smelled just like a pool, however the bed made up for it. Coziest bed/pillows i've ever had at a hotel. We also used the shuttle once we arrived at the airport and they were happy to come collect us at 1am. Good people 👍

Honestly never going back. Not worth the money at all.

Where do I begin? No breakfast. Coffee was available but no creamer, sugar and Splenda only. NO hair dryer! Pool area was a shambles— Parts roped off. I had to ask twice to have gum removed from the baby pool swimming area where my grandchildren played. I had to ask for the pool deck to be cleaned of crumbs all over the floor. Staff was completely unapologetic as to the short comings of the property.

The staff was nice & polite. We ended up having to wait over 1 hr for our shuttle from the airport to our hotel. Our flight arrived at 10pm but next shuttle driver’s shift didn’t start till 11pm. When checking in, we were informed the free breakfast wouldn’t be available for our stay due to renovations. We did use the fitness center twice which had no A/C, towels or cleaning wipes. We were still determined to stay active. Our room reserved for 4 guests only had 2 big shower towels. We asked for more. There wasn’t an ironing board or lotion in the room either. We were just there for 2 nights so there wasn’t time to complain. Glad we made it to our party and back home.

It was nearly the worst stay of my life, ever. It was very run down and outdated but I can handle that. It was GROSS and dangerous honestly. Rust, mold, exposed tiles and clearly not cleaned. The tables, remote were so sticky with visible grime. The bathroom had hair and things on the floor. The refrigerator smelled like vomit. The dead bolts didn't work. We find so many items from prior guests because it wasn't cleaned!! Make up, a sock, used bar of soap and a tote in the dresser (empty, shopping kind). Then, the beds and towels. A four person occupancy, two towels. TWO. Then, the bed, it was awful, with stains and a shredded pillow case! We called for more towels and pillows, said they would send them. Nope, never came. My daughter had a Walmart delivery with cleaning supplies to try to make it more comfortable. Then, the hot tub wasn't hot but luke warm and the jets didn't work. And they host birthday parties and let people take over the ENTIRE pool area. We saw signs for adult hours only and when we called the front desk, we were told it wasn't enforced. I'm talking like 35 kids, all 10 and younger...SCREAMING for hours while using every pool towel that existed. One room was $85 a night and one was $135 a night. One was supposedly a suite but it was the exact same as the cheaper one. So, it was a rip off too. Run away!

Called 100 times to speak to a manager, no reply

This place should not host travelers until renovations are done. Parking lot is under construction. The lobby has no amenities, including no vending machines in the entire hotel. They had a vending "closet" which supposedly held snacks, etc to purchase, but it was literally sold out of everything but diet mountain dew and 1 oddball energy drink. Pool area is large with lots of seating, but it is also under construction and construction tape everywhere. We rented a room that connected to thr pool area... THAT was a mistake. The noise was unbearable. We "slept" with the tv on to cover the noise😩 the pool smell was also INSIDE our room... it was too much for my elderly mother at times. The room itself was terrible. Fridge didnt work and front desk knew it before assigning our room. We couldnt refreeze our freezer packs, so we had to buy ice and keep our cooler cold... the fridge was legit hot to the touch when we entered for the first time. Still plugged in, and front desk knew it was busted...we unplugged it to avoid a fire hazard. The beds were comfy, but the pillows smelled like an old man's head.... they were properly laundered and sanitized, or should be thrown away from overuse. The carpet was filthy, and we kept socks on the whole time. Shower didnt work well, and bathroom door was broken from the slider mechanism, so NO ONE in the bathroom had privacy. Stay away from this place until renovations are done.

Came into town for a concert. The staff was nice, but the rooms were dirty, the sheets had stains all over them. The area did not feel safe, we ended up leaving a few hours after check in, we could not sleep there. The pictures online are very deceiving. Would not stay here again.

The experience was dreadful. The curb appeal stunk. The parking was under construction. The outside was dirty, the concrete was awful looking like years of beverages stained the area. The flower pots have fake flowers. The luggage carts are filthy. The bar and restaurant were closed for remodeling. Would have been nice to know as I use these two features when selecting my hotels. The inside of the building was dark, not a good sign. The check-in process was interesting. A group - very loud and abundant- was leaving. They took over the entire inside and outside making it difficult for parking.A side note here - to be connected later. Upon returning the second day, the registration man was outside the door smoking a cigarette while the phone at the desk rang and rang. He was dressed in what I believe upstanding hotels would consider inappropriate business attire. No hotel logo.We parked around the back. It was dirty, isolated, and unsafe. The elevator upon entry was dirty and run down. The room actually was not as bad as everything previous to the experience. But upon closer look, the caulk around the tub was moldy.Three pillows for a king bed were provided. I called for extra pillows and was told the registration person was the only person in the building and he could not leave- call back after 11p. Upon calling back it was as if I was asking for their first born.Later a knock at the dock and a grunt pushing two pillows in my arms. Do I really need to go on? Do Not Stay - RUN!

My air-conditioning unit broke. And the room was 77°. Also starting at 5 AM an alarm would beep sporadically in my room. I called the front desk three different times with no resolution. Very very unhappy.

Clean and comfortable. Older property showed its age. Staff were courteous and helpful.

The restaurant/bar was not open. Seemed like there was some construction going on outside the hotel. The windows in my room were pretty dated. I was there for three nights and they never made up the room. That could possibly be on me, I didn’t request it. I always thought that was automatic. It’s an OK stay. Staff was friendly. Lots of places to eat right around it in the immediate area.
