Best Western Grantville/Hershey

Location One Elevator not working during our 4 day stay and the hotel was quite crowded which made a long wait at times going and coming from our room. We did have to use the stairs but we are in our 70’s and after a long day out it would have been nice if both elevators were working!!

Everything was good. Beds were comfy, it was clean. Everyone was friendly. Complimentary supplies for the bathroom smelt amazing. Again super clean! Breakfast was good. About a 15 min drive to Hershey which was a straight shot. I don’t mind back roads so it was nice! No traffic!! Electric car charger didn’t work… kinda why I booked so that was disappointing. Need to let water run for a while to get hot water.

The staff breakfast location great I wish the bed sheets was ironed it wasn't good looking and my room was unfortunately next to highway and at night was noisy and my kid was waking up other than that I am happy

Location, front desk folks were friendly. The air in the room was so damp. The sheets felt almost wet. This is because the AC was set to fan. When set to Auto, the AC unit will remove moisture from the air. The breakfast potatoes were black and not completely cooked.

The room itself was fine- no bells and whistles and could use a little Updating (maybe floor instead of carpet, better ac to suck out the humidity) but it was clean and we had everything we needed. The woman who prepared the breakfast the two mornings we were there (I asked her name but forgot) was LOVELY! The breakfast was stocked and the tables were always cleaned up after she saw people leave. I would stay here again!

The staff were very helpful and attempted to resolve any issues quickly.

The bedsheets and towels look like they haven't been replaced in a long time! Everything inside the room was broken and simply did not work. The toilet was not clean and the shower goes hot and cold; To make matters worse, the breakfast was subjected standard and way below acceptable standards. The swimming pool was freezing, cold and dirty, making it impossible to use. A horrible experience that I will never repeat. It was not worth the price! Dont waste your money! The staff are the only best experience of the hotel!

It was in a convenient location just off Rte 81. Easy on and easy off. We had been on the second floor. The ice machine was out of ice. Which meant once you’re done for the day and get into comfortable clothing you needed to get on the elevator and go to a different floor for ice. Then the drain in the bathroom in our room was clogged. So when washing your face or brushing your teeth the sink filled up with water then you had to wait for it to go down just to use it again and it filled up all over again. Not happy when more than one person in the room. The carpeting felt damp and the couch was absolutely horrible to sit at the end of a long day at the park (Hershey). I did tell someone at the front desk at one point. And as far as breakfast goes the woman that takes care of putting the food out was not the best. We were still sitting at our table and it was 9:30am, mind you they serve breakfast from 6:30am to 9:30am, she proceeds to shut off all the lights in the breakfast area as if to tell us we need to leave. Really talk about RUDE. We were only there for 2 mornings and she had a terrible attitude. Being that I have family that live in the area and we were all meeting up at Hershey Park it was close. Next year we will definitely be staying at a much better hotel. And there are plenty in the area.

Clean rooms, very nice breakfast, always seen the staff cleaning and wiping up breakfast area. The room for the price was good and will stay there again if the price stays the same. I absolutely loved the suite with the pull out bed and two beds. Everything great but no towels at the pool but no biggy! Pool was chipping a bit but still happy with everything! Thank you! No towels at the pool and it was chipping a bit, water wasn’t quite clear but we had a great stay and happy with price and will stay again if it stays the same!

Relatively close to Hershey Park, clean and comfortable room, good breakfast, and fun accessible pool! Only cons I can think of is only one of the elevators was working so we either waited up to five minutes or took the stairs. Also the yogurt dispenser at the breakfast was empty.
