Embassy Suites by Hilton Greensboro Airport

No major issues; hopefully the above concerns were due to the facility recovering from a busy holiday weekend (4th of July).

The property was well located. The check I. Was efficient and quick. When we got to our room it had a construction air circulator and no air. It was so humid. We could not reach a person just bit when we called the desk. Very impersonal. A technician came up grabbed the fan and said the room should not have been rented. There were no other rooms and we were able to get the room to cool once set at 60 degrees. It was very humid in the room all night and my daughter and I did not sleep well at all. We had to shower when we got up it was so humid. I would not stay here again unless there are major changes. The whole atrium makes your eyes burn because of the coloring smell and fumes.

The property was ok overall. I do not think that it is up to the standards of other Embassy Suites where I have stayed. The couch in the suites is old and dirty. The carpet is not clean. I stayed for 3 days and asked for towels and toilet paper only and never received either one. The irons are cheap and will ruin your clothes if you are not careful. The pool is very small and inadequate for the size of the hotel. We are never able to enjoy the pool at this location since there are always so many people always utilizing the pool. There is little or no regulation for any of the amenities and some guests take advantage of that.

Very good breakfast

This is a good value! The property is mostly well maintained. There is an issue often with acquiring enough clean towels and bedding for the pull out sofa, but the staff are attentive in trying to provide the items as timely as possible. However, I have been here several times and there has never been bedding or washcloths available. I’ll be back though!!!!!

I have stayed at many Embassy Suites to anyone. This particular one in Greensboro NC will not be on the the return list. I had to ask the front desk 4 times for extra bedding for the pullout couch. The crowd staying there that night had no respect for anyone trying to get some sleep. They were loud and playing music until 4:30-5am in morning. People were knocking on other peoples doors in the middle of the night. Doors/gates to pool area from outside were not secure. When we got up to eat breakfast, banners were hanging from the balcony for a temporary Tattoo shop. No one was checking for the complementary breakfast cards. It looked like people were walking in from the street to eat breakfast. It was very disappointing!

I had several issues during a recent visit - some of the usual hiccups such as light switch, tv remote and late cleaning of room. But I had to speak to manager about being locked inside the pool room area, having to get a passerby to unluck from otherside. There was a "red" button I pushed several times to no avail. when manager came in, he pushed and HELD IT DOWN - who knew? for a smaller person, not sure this would work when the button and door are not exactly aligned to each other. He did, however, act promptly, a sign was put up immediately advising to hold button. It's an ok place if you have a quick flight in/out of airport, there is breakfast and afternoon reception. Hilton did respond to my issues quickly, so that's why I'm giving it a 3 star. noisy running up/down halls, rooms upstairs but that's not their fault. while i'd not stay there again, I haven't completely discounted Hilton. yet.

great location great breakfast

Lobby is clean and nice. Rooms are worn for an Embassy. There were individuals doing tattoos a few rooms down from us. It was sketchy. Reported to front desk nothing was done.

The hotel hosted a large biker organization for the 3 days prior to our stay. The property was left filthy and in disarray. There was trash all over the parking lot, so much to the point that I did not feel safe parking in some areas for concern over broken glass or other sharp items. The interior of the hotel was left a mess. The cleaning and maintenance staff were clearly overwhelmed by the mess left by the group after their lingerie party and Sunday morning pool party. Worse yet was that they have booked the entire hotel 3 years in a row and the outcome is always this degree of nastiness. Our room had barely been cleaned with lamps not working, no hand soap, and no body wash in the bathroom, and no linen for the pull out sofa bed. The pool was missing all of the chairs and had no clean towels. The pool restroom was out of order. The place was a mess and the staff was overwhelmed by the state of things. The staff was not helpful or even polite in acknowledging that guests waited 20 minutes to check-in while other staff scrambled to clean the hotel. To make matters worse, I had to pay $10 a night to park in a lot that was filthy. As a Hilton Honors member, this was the worst experience period.

The housekeeping service was just horrific during our stay. the two rooms we had were not attended to by housekeeping. no garbage pick up, no dishes removed, no toilet paper restocked, or no towels restocked.

The room was a bit dated with stains on the carpet and trash on the floor (a straw) when I walked in.

Staff hospitality. Free complementary drink, good breakfast No shampoo or body wash in bathroom. Pull out couch cloth was dirty

On the flip side, the bar was well stocked and run, with with bar tender Jenn having a great personality and care.

Excellent signature breakfast. Clean rooms and overall great stay for families.
