Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Greensboro Coliseum Area

Just looking for a place to sleep on a long road trip so I don’t know much about the area except it seemed like a nice clean, quiet area just off the interstate. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The property and room were very clean. The room was actually much larger than I expected. The price also surprised me, would have expected a higher rate based on the quality. The only negative I could think of is the bed was a little soft for my liking. My wife loved it but I prefer something a little firmer. If I am ever in the area again… this is where I will stay.

The room was pretty big for a Queen bed, lots of space , the pool could’ve been better for i have extremely sensitive skin and i tend to welp up , so the pool’s chlorine level wasn’t good for me , breakfast was good , and everything else was smooth, definitely worth the 2 days

The guy at the from desk when we checked in was amazing, friendly and very helpful. The first thing we noticed was how clean and fresh the lobby smelled. Our room was clean as well!

Staff was amazing. Upkeep on property was amazing. Would definitely stay there again.

Helpful staff Particularly pleased that they have reusable plates and cutlery (unlike many other places we stayed). The breakfast quality was also much higher. Short drive to a number of restaurants. All good

I was really pleased with my stay at this hotel. Our son is a new UNCG Spartan and we will have to come to campus many more times within the next 4 years - I am pretty sure this will be the hotel of choice for us when we stay over. It was affordable and super clean. The front desk staff both at check-in and check-out were very friendly. My room was spacious. The king size bed was comfy. The shower was clean and had great pressure. The tv was a smart tv so if I had wanted to stream my shows, I could have done that (comforts of home are always a perk.) I slept great! The few things that I would say were less than perfect (and this is super nit-picky ...but if I had to find an issue), I would say that the elevator is smallish (so if busy, it might have a wait); the toilet seemed lower to the ground than standard toilets; and the breakfast was mediocre (but the coffee was perfect!) Honestly, I had a great experience and I would definitely return.
