Motel 6 Greensboro, NC - I-40

Room was dirty and smelled like smoke/mold. Don’t recommend!

The room is was sold out before I made it to the hotel, around 11:20pm they ask me to get refund back from expedia.

The only thing that was likable about this whole. Situation was their pet policy, with no extra pet. Fees and the acceptance of e s a in service animals I didn't like the fact that I paid for specific amenities and did not receive them. And did not receive a reimbursement for the amenities that I paid for I also didn't like that. The floor looked as if it hadn't been swept in months. And it turned the bottom of my feet black and sticky, where it was So nasty. The outlet in the bathroom above the bathroom sink was literally falling out of the wall. The toilet was disgusting with hair and urine. All over the bottom of it and around the floor not to mention, there were fruity pebble cereals all around the bottom of the toilet. I'm not sure if it was from vomit or what I contacted booking.com. And the front desk multiple times and received no assistance. So I did not even end up staying my full reservation time Highly disappointed i also ordered a non smoking room. It said non smoking on the door but when you walked in, it smelt like a tobacco factory

Extreme health hazard

Booked a non smoking room for an employee of ours. Upon checking in, the front desk gave him a key to “check out the room”. My employee was HORRIFIED at this room. The one blanket on the bed was covered in cigarette burns, reeked of cigarette smoke, and he didn’t seem to think the floors had been cleaned in quite some time. He tried to see how bad the bathroom would be, but there was no light to illuminate whatever could be hiding in there. Needless to say, my employee returned the key, informed the front desk as to why he couldn’t stay in such filth, and left to find another hotel. The clerk made sure to say our card wouldn’t be charged, so I was relieved. However, I received an alert this evening notifying me that my one night stay at Motel 6, had posted to my account. I attempted to contact this location at the local number Google has for them. Disconnected. So I attempted to contact each Motel 6 in GSO, and the numbers had ALL been disconnected. If I actually knew this town like I know my hometown, I would’ve known to stay far away from this dump. Motel 6 is one of THOSE motels that everyone locally knows to stay away from, unless you want to pay for a step above living on the street. Just saying. There’s no sense in not engaging in normal cleaning practices, no matter the caliber of folks that frequent your establishment.

The staff is nice. Free stay for pets. NOTHING is clean about this property. From the outside to the rooms. First and foremost they have roaches, the sheets are stained, the floors are dirty and dead flys lying everywhere, the activity of people staying there are very sketchy because most people live there. If you don’t mind staying in the projects, this is for you!

Expedia says “pets are free,” and although a $10 fee is posted, I was not charged for my dog. Be advised if you are in a back room, the trash truck came to empty the dumpster before 5 AM.
