This was my first time at The Great Wolf Lodge in Gurnee, IL. I've been to the one is Wisconsin and was surprised by having to pay for parking. $20. Now I was only there for 1 day so I'm not sure if it was $20 per day or just a flat rate of $20. I also was not given the room that I booked. I booked the room with the bunk beds, but I had one less person come, so they put me in a 2 queen/ sofa bed room. My Son and his daughter were looking forward to the bunk bed room. I let them have the beds and took the sofa bed, but it was broken and my son felt sorry for me, so he and his daughter slept in one bed and I slept in the other. They had a great time at the waterpark and arcade though.

Everything was excellent! The only issue was that we had to wait in line to use the microwave to heat our meals. If guests are expected to stay for an extended period, it would be much more convenient to have a microwave in each room, or at least easier access to one. Overall, we had a great experience, but adding microwaves to the rooms would make future stays even better.

This was our first time at a great Wolf Lodge. We like that it was close to other parks and a big mall. The swimming area was a lot of fun for our kids. The staff was kind and helpful. The prices in the restaurants were over the top for what the food was. Cleanliness was OK but the room was showing its age. All in all we had a good time. Everyone should try out a great wolf lodge at least once.

Added expenses not covered such as activities for the kids to do. Outrageously expensive for basic products like pop and chips. Dunkin closes at 12pm even though the rest of the store stay open until 8pm overly crowded with rude people the price of the stay worth the chaos of everything

The room was very clean and comfortable. The Indoorwater park was fun for everyone. The lazy river and wave pool were my favorites.

First time staying at a Great Wolf Lodge. Was a wonderful time. Onsite food selection was great and easy to order ahead of time if wanted. Waterpark was as expected. Many other activities available to keep the kids entertained was a nice touch. Arcade is expensive and having to pay to park were my only disappointments. Otherwise highly recommend!
