Woke up to some sort of insect infestation swarming in the kitchenette and sitting area. Staff did not answer multiple calls to address concerns. Booking agency tried to step in but hotel refused. Terrible service and obviously very unclean.

Overall, beautiful renovations. Staff was outstanding! The bed was Amazing! Even though the rooms have been updated, the bathrooms are very small. And, there was no exhaust fan in my room I would still rank this place 5 stars.

My room didn’t even have a window to the outside. The window looked into the lobby and was frosted with that ugly laminate paper stuff. Construction noise and a children’s sleepover were disruptive the whole stay. The staff were really friendly and accommodating with early/late check in/out and they were so nice to my little dog. Didn’t try the food or bar, but I’ve heard it’s really good.

The rooms have been recently remodeled and the property is clean. Nicest place to stay in Gurnee for this price point.
