Economy 7 Inn Near Hampton University VA

The rooms were not very clean. You could tell that the walls had not been wiped down because they were black with dirt. The microwave didn’t have a glass plate and it was dirty inside like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. The cover kept falling off of the AC unit and the filter was dirty. The flies were horrible and the outside was loud at night. The laundry lady was very nice and helpful during our stay but I will never go back to this place again and this is not a place for vacationing.

This hotel was the worst from check-in to dirty Lynn excessive insects in the room, including spiders in the shower. They didn’t even offer an ice machine or ice.

We really enjoyed our stay. Owner and staff definitely accommodated any requests. Not a major issue was no place in shower to put soap or shampoo. No ice machine but just a quick drive to 7-Eleven. Convenient to major roads and main highway. Would definitely stay again.

Disappointing

They had smoking rooms and non-smoking rooms we went into the smoking first and it looked like they threw the box springs in mud and just put them back in the room. We went to the non-smoking room on one bed obvious dog hair all over I have pictures and the other bed had been used. If I didn't have to give any stars they would have got zero. Unless you are absolutely desperate no matter of fact sleep outside.

I wished I could attach pictures. Initially I was going to cancel the room. Then the sent me a email thanking me and stated they had renovations. THAT WAS A LIE! STAY AWAY!!

Absolutely the most disgusting motel I have ever stayed in. I will never stay here again and will tell everyone I know not to.

Air conditioning was good

This place is ok, I didn't have any problems, the water pressure is low and my TV turns on at max volume, would scare some people, but that's the only issue I had.

Staff members were very helpful. Could have been cleaner.

The room was clean, although the property itself, is in a sketchy area & done of the people staying their were a bit sketchy, too. This was my second time staying there & both times there were police at the location responding to a disturbance. Thankfully, this didn't occur at night. Both occasions seemed to be during the middle of the day.

This hotel is perfect for the price. The staff was so kind.

The room was nice and clean, air conditioning was perfect. I wish parking was a little better. But a good property to stay at.
