As a result, we were left without a room despite having paid for a three-night stay. What made the situation even more frustrating was that the hotel was still showing available rooms, yet they could not provide us with accommodations or a clear explanation. Being stranded without a room after prepaying for multiple nights is unacceptable. I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience, and I hope management takes steps to prevent this from happening to other guests.

This is the most ghetto hotel I have ever been to. Before I walked inside there was a manic looking man pacing back and forth outside. When I walked inside the first door, the ceiling was leaking with a bucket under it. Once inside the reception area it felt more like a prison check in than a hotel check in. (Keep in mind I have never been anywhere near a prison) There was a sign on the window that said “No prostitution, no illegal activity…” and a bunch of other instructions that made me realize I was in a terrible area. The security guard they had was much needed, but the staff was rude. The space was anything but appealing to the eye. It looks like they did their last remodel in 1996. The walls had poorly patched areas throughout the entire room we were in. The pillows were the smallest I had ever seen. And we didn’t even bother to go look at the breakfast because judging by the building it was going to be underwhelming. Next time I am in Chicago I would prefer to sleep in my car.

The room has roaches and would not change my room

The check in wasn’t smooth. We had issues with checking in to our room. After almost an hour we were finally able to check in with our confirmation number. I don’t know if it was due to technical issues, third party issues or the desk clerk, but I’ve never experienced anything like this before and pray I never will again. I would suggest that if you don’t make reservations directly with the hotel, call before arriving to make sure when you get there you will be able to check into your room immediately especially after traveling for hours to get there.

Nothing The building is old, dirty, and smells. The appliances didn't work, and the maid didn't clean the room. Door hinges were loose in most of the rooms on my floor. Hard to open the door with the handle; it was unsafe.
