Super 8 by Wyndham South Holland

It was horrible. Maintenance could definitely be way better. There was duck tape on the bottom of the door. You could see where there had been stains on the sheets. You could see in between the wall where the shower head is. People were yelling in there rooms at each other. And you could smell the Marijuana everywhere you went. But it is legal in Illinois but your not suppose to smoke in the rooms. The workers themselves were very professional and nice though. Its just everything else they need to work on!

The staff was friendly and the air was cold.

Room was clean

The hotel was clean but kind of outdated. This was a good place to stay for the price and it was basic accommodations. I didn’t check out the breakfast so not sure about that. I stayed 4 nights and for some reason I had to go to the front desk for a new card each night, which was very inconvenient. Overall, you can stay here for the low or go across to the casino hotel for quadruple the amount, which is way too much for the south suburbs of Chicago.

For a facility that stated 100% smoke free, it smelled like Marijuana. The bathroom tile work was coming off and the tub was cracked and in disrepair. Sheets felt humid. Breakfast was lacking and questionable.

The hotel was good. The main problem was the breakfast. It was very limited in options and in quantity. Often the staff informed the guest that they had no more food!

The staff was careless and charged me twice, I have not received the refund yet. The experience was so bad.

an absolute amazing stay!

Clean room was my most concern and it was spotless

Dirty floor carpet, broken walls, dirty desk and bathroom floor sticky. Dust settled on the vents.

I was good parking slot if restaurant to choose from it was a great day me and my wife will go back again

Spacious rooms, but that’s it. No toiletries, breakfast ran out before closing time, and the furniture was old and worn. Amenities were minimal overall. Wouldn’t recommend.

Staff was very helpful and attentive to my needs

The hotel to me is better than a star that was given. It deserves more because it’s an excellent hotel.

I would not recommend this hotel. Our room smelled like old sweat and it is definitely not family friendly.

Bad Points: All the hotel smelled strongly of something akin to axe bodyspray. The smell was chemical. Perhaps the best that could be said is; we were unable to smell/immediately detect the reason behind the smell. We were coming from days of no power. My partner has a broken leg and is coming off chemo. This was unworkable situation.

Super 8 hotels used to be great years ago but they are becoming a cheap motel now.

The property was very well kept, our room was fully remodeled and clean as heck. It was quiet, beds comfortable, felt safe
