Best Western Plus South Holland/Chicago Southland

There was nobody at the front desk when we checked in and checked out. I have never stayed at a hotel where this was an issue. We had to wait the longest time to get checked in at 8:45/9:00 pm, which is a common time to check in. Mind you, we stayed on hold for over 15 min on the way there, but finally gave up on hold. It smelled so strongly of pot every morning and night in the lobby and out front. We can't figure out how this place had great reviews!

The atmosphere was peaceful, the amenities were great, and every interaction with the staff was pleasant and professional. It truly felt like a home away from home. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay. Thank you for making my weekend so enjoyable—I can’t wait to come back!

Had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Best Western Plus South Holland/Chicago Southland! Enjoyed my stay so much that they would be my preferred and first choice of a hotel stay anytime I come to Chicago to visit. Safe, clean, modern, convenient location, complementary breakfast, daily housekeeping, family friendly, and friendly staff. Everything was good in my eyes and I appreciate the hospitality from the staff and housekeeping as well. I’ll definitely stay here again and I would recommend this particular hotel to anyone who may be looking for a hotel in that area of Chicago.

The property was clean ,Breakfast Buffet were good but the hair dryer has color stains on over it and very dirty also the microwave glass plate has some kind like coffee cream on it and It was very sticky, the toilet bowl without the lid , the restroom door didn’t lock.

This hotel DOES NOT look like they from photos it is seriously in bad shape the room smelled the sheets were stained the couch in the room was stained everything was beaten up. Elevator Broken -Very loud and the breakfast in the morning looked really bad . we woke up at 5 am to leave as soon as possible-

Clean room in a hotel located right off the highway. Plenty of food and shopping nearby as well as a casino. Breakfast left a lot to be desired, but you can't complain if it's free.

The mattress under the sheets were stained badly. They didn't have another room to move me in. Very disappointing

Not a terrible stay, but it appeared that our room needed another cleaning. I will say that the staff went above and beyond to fulfill any requests and were all extremely kind and helpful. The location of the hotel is nice and quiet, but be prepared to drive if you want to do anything. The train station was about a five minute drive.

The staff there was great. They were clean & the breakfast was good. Would come back.

Got a king room with sofa bed. Could not use sofa bed because it was completely filled with food. Staff did not ever come to clean it and basically said oh well when we mentioned and show them what it look like. They also had no sheets blankets in the room for it anyway. The bed was bare and when we asked about that, it was we don’t have any. Just a complete mess.

The hotel was clean inside and outside and there's no unwanted guests hanging out. There was nightly security. The hotel had normal wear and tear, like paint chips, but nothing major. We did a bug check upon arrival and it was excellent. The mattress were enclosed and there was also a topper on it. The towels and sheets seemed new. The smart TV allowed you to login to your Netflix and Hulu account. The breakfast was also good( yogurt, cereal, hash, eggs, sausage gravy biscuits, waffles, oatmeal, and fresh fruit. No noise or weird smells. We will be back

We stayed two nights. The jetted tub was amazing. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Only compliant that's not really too big of an issue would be the walls are extra thin. I could hear the conversations in the room next to mine. Also I wish I had known the room was an adjoining room up front.

The hotel was very comfortable and reasonably priced. Nice staff and pretty good hot breakfast.
