Comfortable to stay

The Overnight Desk Clerk tried to charge me extra money for "taxes" as I checked out of the room , which I found to be extremely unconventional for a hotel such as this one. I have never had to pay extra for fees before and I didn’t then. I love staying at Towne Place Suites, but this has really placed lowered my view of this property. I don't think I will ever stay at this hotel again and I will warn anyone in the future about these so called extra taxes being placed on their check outs when leaving their rooms.

The staff was a 10 plus!!! The breakfast was good also, the location was on point, we was showed much love and respect. The manager handle everything perfect. Her staff is well trained and very respectful! I felt as if I was with family there!?????????

The room was very clean, staff were friendly, but the property was a bit rundown.

As soon as we parked and got out our vehicle we was greeted with the stench of sewage. Once we got checked in and made it to our floor the hallways had a moldy smell. For a complex that has been newly built it was in rough shape. The carpet was dirty, the light fixtures was broken, the hot water on the sink was turned off for some reason and parts of the carpet by the tv was ripped. The sofa/ couch appeared to be broken. I wouldnt recommend this particular hotel to anyone.

Horrible hotel. Rooms are nasty and smelly. Sofa beds are falling apart and terrible for sleeping. Shower is rusty. Room is overall outdated and not worth the price.

No breakfast at all the second day. Apparently staff didn't show up and no one else could do it. They had 2 treadmills in the gym. Both had badly torn belts. The sink in the kitchenette leaked all over the floor. Dirty tables in the breakfast area. On a good note, all staff was incredibly friendly.

There was no breakfast or coffee on Sunday the girl at the desk was rude and said she doesn’t do kitchen work and she doesn’t make coffee Have someone at the desk that knows what they are doing Also the firearm when off for over 20 minutes and I called the desk I was told she did not know and if we would all stop calling her she might be able to figure it out this was same girl. The furniture was falling apart toilet paper holder falling out the wall TV in bedroom didn’t work Poolwas dirty not heTed

I liked the location very safe The hotel was not clean. The bathroom had hair in the tub. The Carpet was dirty. I’m experiencing allergies from the carpet and stale and possibly smoked out room. Hallways smelled like marijuana.

Upgraded to a room with private bedrooms They are trying, but the furniture has taken a beating and is not clean. No current bugs, but curtains, lighting, walls all have bug poop all over. The smell of MJ in the hallway trailing guests helped explain the smell in our room during the night.

Stay somewhere. Else

It had a very clean room. I love a place where I don’t have to pay for parking. Also left my car while on a cruise for free so that was a plus.definitely would pick this place again.

The second night I asked that they come clean the bath room and give fresh towels . There were dead roaches on the floor and the bathroom really didn’t look up to part . The ceiling was bubbling like it had water damage and the tub was peeling . The furniture in the room was dusty and it just did not have a fresh clean smell to it . No one came to clean up that night and we were told we had to wait until the morning for fresh towels because house keeping was gone . Third day I called early requested the from get cleaned. Cause we had some trash that build up and we really wanted to come back feeling refresh . Same thing no one came to clean or give fresh towels . I went down to make a complaint and the lady at the front was very nonchalant. She did however give me the towels Overall I was not comfortable. It is one of the more modern hotels on the westbank but the cleanliness is a 3 and the customer service is 2. I would not recommend staying here for long stays. We paid about 1k for the stay and if was not worth it . I was excited to be home and celebrate Mardi Gras but I cringe being in that room .
