Discovery Inn

Small little place but dont be fooled from the outside. The rooms are nice and clean and the people at the desk are helpful. We forgot our phone in the room and they let us in without any fuss

My stay at Discovery Inn exceeded my expectations. The property was exceptionally clean, well maintained, and comfortable. What stood out most was how safe and cared for I felt. The staff was welcoming, professional, and attentive, making sure my needs were met without hesitation. In an industry where customer service can feel like an afterthought, Discovery Inn gets the basics right—cleanliness, comfort, safety, and genuine respect for guests. If you’re looking for an affordable, well-run hotel in the Hayward area, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Discovery Inn. They earned this review, and that’s something I don’t say often.

It’s one of the cleaner hotels in the area…..

I like the upstairs jacuzzi suite because there is parking below the room, so there's no noise to or from above or below. Parking is a bit snug but you wont be far from your room no matter what. Its a very nice little hideaway and not at all ghetto despite its location. 711 next door. And other stores across the street. Youre just minutes from downtown and the freeways in either direction

It fine,2nd visit

the room was pretty clean, the parking was okay. the location was really nice though. there’s a 7 eleven right behind the hotel and just in general there was a lot of places nearby to eat. overall really nice i would definitely go back to hayward and come back to this hotel. there was no problems at all.

Stores were convenient

Nice inn manager and the room was decently clean. The AC needed to be cleaned/fixed but the inn manager did offer to switch our rooms if it was too hot. We had to open the window and since it’s next to a busy street, it can be quite loud.

The owner was on property and was very attentive to any needs I had. The room was clean and the location was ideal for my needs. It fulfilled all of my needs and was very convenient. The parking was a little tight.

Parking is a major problem after 10.
