Heritage Inn Express Hayward

The cleaness of the room was terrible It has a dog smell, dog fur covered the curtain, the restroom was disgusting The windows had a lock to prevent from break-in, maybe just because it was in a bad neighborhood

Everything was great from check-in to check out. The cleaning stuff and front desk were very helpful. No complaints

Room was great jus smells like cigarettes...

It had free parking Everything. Had ac on auto and every time it came on it smelled like cat urine and the widows didn’t open for alternative. Old furniture, things rusty, things chipped. Holes in walls. My room didn’t have a bathtub stopper when I specifically requested one. Highly disappointed. I stayed here before thought it would be different and it wasn’t

Whole place was a dump off the interstate. Smelled like cig smoke everywhere outside and in the rooms. Bathroom smelled like weed? I don’t even want to know. Mystery stains just scattered around on the carpets. All in all awful so glad to be rid of the place!

Unfortunately if you are traveling with kids, this isn't the best option for a family hotel. The moment you enter the room, you can smell smoked. Loud neighbor's, my downstairs neighbor had their loud music until 1AM . Try calling the main office to report it, unfortunately the phone wasn't even plugged to the wall. Definitely not coming back at all.

Had a satisfying stay, safe, quiet enough to sleep and get thru my challenging days productive. Thank you for the hospitality.

Eventually the receptionist said for USD 50 he could maybe find a room but then said the only room had not been cleaned from the previous guest (bed un made, bathroom towels on the floor etc). After 2 hours of trying to get a room, and getting absolutely no help from expedia (kept getting chat bots and deadends and couldn't speak to a person) my colleague gave up and caught a tax back to the airport to sleep on a chair. Absolutely shocking service from this hotel, and Expedia not much better (for a platinum member). Avoid like the plague.

My room was clean, staff was available to help, ventilation and a/c sufficient. I was able to complete my professional work needs as well as the convenience of being close by active shopping areas
