Bella Villa Messina

The property was on the top of a hill so the view was pleasant. The pool was pretty. The property was very clean. Nice furnishings in the common areas. Staff was pleasant. The breakfast offered was very limited with most items not available. There were no low carb options plus very stark presentation. No in room coffee available and only 1 spoon put out for stirring your cream into your coffee. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. There were no luggage racks nor small table in the room. The parking was very limited and not easy to exit your vehicle. It was on a steep slope. The hot tub was out of commission. The room contained an iron but no ironing board. There was only one lock on the door, so no privacy lock. No do not disturb sign available.

Overall appearance, staff, location, friendly vibe, outdoor patio and pool area, neighborhood, breakfast, view of the surrounding area. Stay longer than one night.

Beautiful house on the hill, convenient and perfect. Everything was wonderful.

Location. ; free parking, home-made breakfast in the morning, pool, hot/tub, comfy bed. Very luxurious. Romantic location. Nice towels, good water pressure for shower. I look forward to booking a trip here again in the future. The host on site answers all questions and makes the check in very efficient and smooth. Very personable. No ac in rooms, keep windows open for fresh air, road noise outside.

Felt like a real old fashion Bed & Breakfast which these days are hard to find. Close to so many wineries and downtown. The staff were helpful and very accommodating and we loved our room. It was spacious and the large bathtub added to our experience. We only had 1 night and wish it had been longer! The pool and hottub where not working. Some thing definitely felt dated and need to some improvement.

This is the loveliest chateau! It feels like we’re in Tuscany. It’s beautifully appointed inside and out, very comfortable and clean. The hosts are both welcoming and friendly. We were booked for one night but decided to stay three! There’s not a single thing not to like!

Beautiful property with a great hilltop view of the surrounding area. A few minor details could be addressed - a better quality cloth napkin, restocking the tea with a wider variety of herbals and blacks.

Beautiful hilltop property a scant 7 mins from downtown Healdsburg. The very friendly host Tesia welcomed us with a glass of wine. It’s a small property of 5 rooms and has a gracious living room with fireplace and a large dining room for the breakfast. They bring in breakfast from a local bakery. There is an outdoor patio area and a pool. Our room was large and comfortable. The climate control is centralized and our room was a bit warm at night. Opening the window took care of the issue.

The staff was wonderful. The location was perfect perfect. It was quiet and tranquil. The breakfast was absolutely horrible on both days. It was like they were heated up, frozen hand pies, or tart with a spoonful of fruit. Those were not pastries they were absolutely inedible and absolutely horrible. I couldn’t even cut through mine so I just opened the hand pie and ate what was inside. Then I left and went for breakfast. I had to pour my own coffee, which was OK and was not even offered a cup of juice. You need to seriously rethink if you think this is an adequate breakfast. Additionally, I picked this place because it advertised it had a pool and it was going to be unbelievably hot and I wanted to enjoy the pool and lay out in the sun for a while. That was impossible when the pool was closed because I was told it was inoperable. I will give you a try again later on because I am hopeful that you will have fixed these two problems. If you do, you would get an excellent review. But these two problems were insurmountable.

Beautiful Mansion. 2 miles from downtown Healdsburg.

The location is great, less than a 10-minute drive from downtown Healdsburg. The staff was excellent, welcoming, and helpful. The room was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. The stairs were quite narrow and a little uncomfortable to use. One interaction also didn’t feel as friendly as the rest of the staff.

Hernan was the most welcoming host. The property is beautiful, the rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect. I hope to stay here again in the future.

Beautiful location, very nice staff. Very comfortable and spacious, clean, welcoming. Access communications were problematic, TV remote did not work, AC was weak on a very hot day, hot tub was broken. Everything else was great. Seriously.

Very comfortable house plenty of shared areas to hang out. Room was large and Queen Bed was great. Kitchen Access and Refrigerator. Liked having code no interaction needed to get into property. Pool needed to be skimmed. Ability to use BBQ or stove might make us stay multiple days, but we will stay there again. From our balcony you can hear the freeway, but everything echos being on top of hill.

Quiet and peaceful Parking on the hill is a bit challenging

This lovely location makes you feel like you're in an Italian countryside villa. The space is well-maintained, relaxed and minutes away from the charming center of Healdsburg.

Amazing, hospitable, and comfortable stay! I can't say enough good things about the welcoming environment Tesia provides to guests and the lovely different common areas to hang out in with beautiful views. There was some confusion with the features of the room I originally booked (Burgundy). Tesia was communicative and she and Cynthia were flexible and gave us the option to tour a couple of rooms upon arrival which I very much appreciated! I can be particular about location and direction of the windows :) We ended up upgrading to the Asti room which I highly recommend if you are looking for a private room with everything. I believe it is the original master suite and has a very large bathroom with jacuzzi tub, large private balcony, big king bed, and windows that face south and west in the bedroom and south and east in the bathroom (A lot of sun throughout the day!) Breakfast and coffee in the morning was simple and much appreciated. You pre-order the evening before and select a time you would like for them to have it ready for you. It was fun to meet and chat with other guests at breakfast or throughout the day in the common areas. Very inviting, relaxing, welcoming and a beautiful property that is still very close to Healdsburg Square. Highly recommend and look forward to staying again! The room descriptions on Booking.com were confusing and inconsistent at first. I reached out to the property to ask for clarification and they responded quickly and corrected them.

Scenic and unique. Pretty views. Road noise from highway 101 is loud. No staff onsite when I arrived. Pool full of leaves. Mattress was way too soft and creaked.
