DoubleTree by Hilton Cincinnati Airport

We like this hotel because it’s within the airport airspace and we can go here to avoid fireworks for our scared dog on holidays. You barely even hear the airplanes. It’s definitely not geared to longer stays though, because even in our deluxe room with the couch, the TV was not pivotable so you couldn’t really watch it from the couch only the bed. You also only get about 20 local channels also with no functioning guide. We stayed 4 nights and requested a mini fridge and they were able to accommodate that. The premises are nice and easy to navigate, with lots of grass for dog-walking and open parking ($8 a night), and the staff is helpful. For people who are smell sensitive there’s often a fragrance in the lobby, but that dissipates as you get into the room hallways. Not all the hallways are air-conditioned, but our room had excellent cold AC, and the bed and couch were comfortable. I have stayed in the tower and in the lower building and I definitely recommend the deluxe rooms in the lower part of the building - the elevator is faster and the air-conditioning worked better for us. We would definitely stay here again, but it would be 100% for avoiding fireworks reasons.

Close to the airport. Short shuttle.

I arrived early from the airport and staff made sure I was in a room well before my check in time. I was very grateful! The room was clean, very quiet for being so close to an airport. I enjoyed the restaurant for multiple meals and found the food quality and portions to be very enjoyable.

We should not have had to do that. We should have been given the room we reserved and paid for!

Need an in room fridge and a little upkeep on simple things like loose toilet paper holders. Overall a great place to stay.

The staff is awesome. Miss Tyra and everyone at the front desk are wonderful people and made my family feel right at home, especially my kid. Big rooms, comfortable beds, right next to the airport.
