Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Helena North

The property is aging. I noticed peeling paint, rusted door jams, diry pool and spa area, mold in the shower corners, dirt in corners, carpets in the room had debris on them. Very disappointing for a Marriott family property. The breakfast muffin was soggy on one side and brick-hard on the other - Gross!

Everything about the Hotel was exceptional, if I had one critique to offer it would be for more variety day to day for breakfast. My staff and I were there for 6 days and it was essentially the same breakfast items every day.

Maintenance needed. Window seal broken so window was cloudy and couldn't see out. Also, bathroom had no venting so mold growing in cracks of shower. In addition, they had signs up about reusing towels, but had no towel bars. Only a so so property.

The staff was OK at best. She was able to switch our rooms which was good.

Very very clean hotel. Conveniently located to downtown.

No AC in the gym was a bit of a bummer as well as issues in rooms. The pool on the weekend was be8ng used for community swim lessons, which was a bit of a bummer for the kids.

Great location and quiet clean stay. Would stay again

A very nice centrally located place to stay in Helena. The breakfast was well stocked and the staff was very welcoming.

Everything was very clean and very close to expressways to get to where I wanted The only thing that concerned me a little bit, was people leaving their doors to the outside open or slightly a jar

it was good. i had to book another night and the front desk helped me out and was very kind to me.

We enjoyed our stay at Fairfield. The kids particularly enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The breakfast was decent. Room and property was clean. Staff members were polite and helpful.

Very clean staff was very nice. The on looked newly remodeled The room itself was very going and roomy. Bathroom in our room was small for the size of the room. Bathroom could have been better. Would have been nice if the cleaning staff would have checked towels and toilet paper. Had to go ask for both. For the price of the room should have been cleaned bed made and fresh towels and toilet paper in room for our second day. Floor in shower was a little slippery.

Asked for a late check out and was abruptly told no, no ideas for how to accommodate the request.

Convenient Key and room situations (walked in on someone else), broken sink, broken handrail

The air temperature in the room was good for sleeping. The shower water pressure was great. I really like that you don’t allow pets. I don’t stay at hotels that do. There were no towel racks in the bathroom. The hook on the bathroom door is falling off. The door casing in the bathroom is missing. No bathroom fan caused the mirror to steam up making shaving difficult.

The assistant manager, Evie, was so friendly & kind, made me feel like we’ve know each other, even tho we had just met! Kyle, the young man in charge of the breakfast buffet was very accommodating. Our room smelled like someone smoked cigarettes in there. I noticed there was NOT a no smoking sign on the wall under our room number, like there was for the other rooms. So maybe it was a room where smoking is allowed…?

Was grateful for a place to crash but over 300 for one night is exuberant! It was a clean basic room
