This Holiday Inn Express shows it’s age but it was still a great place to stay.

The pool was supposed to be heated and was not. I specifically stayed there for the indoor heated pool because of my arthritis and I recently had skin cancer surgery and can no longer be in the sun. There was a very strong order next to my room. The toilet seat was broke as the desk lamp. The breakfast was excellent, especially the biscuits and gravy.

The pool was in operation as compared to the hotel next door. Friendly staff and accommodating of my disability I booked a handicap accessible room and was given a standard room initially. Once at the room, I walked into a floor molding laying on thr floor as soon as I walked in. The room was dark so I went to open the shade to find it would not wind up. I rolled it up and threw it over the valance. The final straw was the toilet seat was about to fall off. I attempted to call the front desk but the phone did not work. I went to talk to the front desk but they were away. I left a bright yellow highlighted note asking someone to tighten the toilet seat. I left for dinner and upon return 3 hours later, the receptionist told me she sent maintenance to fix the toilet. They had not done it so I fixed it myself. Very agitated with the overall experience.

Nothing I paid $156 a night and It was dirty and I woke up to a roach in my bathroom.

This Holiday Inn Express is very nice. It is conveniently located on the outskirts of Hinesville, GA. Our room was clean and spacious and the shower hot. We slept well and were there for a one night stay. Our room faced the highway so the traffic was very noisy, but we made the best of it. The breakfast was very good with a variety of options. The breakfast hostess, Dairy, was very hospitable. I would stay there again.
