This is a phenomenal place to stay in Hoboken. We will certainly be back.

The W and Hoboken itself has fallen short of affordability and enjoyment. The hotel is lacking in appearance, out dated and not much to offer in entertainment or amenities. Hoboken has declined over the years with restaurants and bars closing all over the place. It’s a shame my wife and i use to come for weekend getaways several times a year.

Location. The rooms were a great size and QUIET! Didn’t know anyone was next to us. Staff were outstanding! Check in and check out were extremely smooth. The valet parking was a little pricey but well, well worth it.

My room rate was paid for in advance. I gave them a credit card for incidentals of which I didn't incur any. They charged my card $650.00 and said it would be reversed in 5 days. At a room rate of over $450.00 per night you would think that the Internet would be free - no.

Views of NYC were fabulous. Dining options were numerous. Transport to and from NY city was spot on. Staff was fabulous, offering dining options, neighborhood suggestions. Service at the bar was quick and efficient. Elevator service was also quick, wait time never exceeded 1 minute. Would definitely do again. Thought water view would be better. But really can't complain. Window was angled to see the NYC skyline.

The hotel itself was nice. Beautiful views of the river and NYC skyline. We had booked a king bedroom for the night of our wedding and the hotel bumped us. So when we got there at 1 in the morning after leaving our wedding venue we were told they only had a double queen room. They told us that they figured we would prefer to have 2 queens and a view instead of a king. We booked a king with a view over a month before the wedding. Was very disappointed that our wedding night ended the way it did. The next day after speaking to the manager she graciously offered us 15k Marriot points but that still doesn’t make up for this. Very disappointed and wouldn’t recommend staying here if they don’t even hold the room that you have a reservation for.

Clean room, great view. Got late 2pm checkout with Marriot Bonvoy Gold Elite.
