West Village Eurohostel

The cleanliness was maintained 24/7 especially in the bathrooms. The rooms are "cabin" sized, and nicely detailed with woodwork creating a cozy environment. The matress was a bit too firm for my aging frame, but I slept well enough through the night. The room was fairly quiet which contributed to a good night's sleep. I think this hostel concept is an affordable alternative to paying double for a typical hotel room, and this hostel satisfies in spades! The location is terrific as well for us walkers.

This is such a wonderful spot!! It was very quiet and comfortable. Plenty of space to hang clothes or put your suitcase out of the way. I interacted with Aisha (sorry if that is not the spelling of your name) who was so lovely and friendly. I would recommend this lovely spot to any solo travelers.

Space and location are exactly as described, a little noisy from outside at times from, but overall a pleasant stay. Great neighbourhood with loads of bars/restaurants and access to everything you could want downtown. Would definitely recommend if you're on a budget and okay with tight quarters : )

The room was small, but expected. However, the air conditioning was pleasant for the small room. I would recommend shower shoes, because the hotel was out, but the lobby has an affordable washer and dryer. It also has a filtered water tap… just no ice. The staff was super friendly and could help you schedule a cab or locate things you need.

This place is perfect — super clean and quiet. Beds are a little hard, but everything else is great!

I loved the old Jane Hotel. This is not the same. I have got bites from the bed.

The shared bathroom vanity top was constantly wet. I don’t know what people do but with water everywhere, it needs to be cleaned more often. Rooms are very very small. More shelving or hooks would be nice.

Location, Location, Quality of the Room Walls were a little thin. so I would recommend ear plugs!

The hostel was clean, safe, and comfortable, and I was really impressed by the quality for the price and location! They provided everything you need. The bathrooms were spotless and still felt private despite being shared. The staff were very nice and helpful. I left my kindle in the room by accident, and they shipped it to me across the country. This is a great option if you're looking for something affordable and don't need extra amenities!

The only thing wrong with what is now called the West Side Eurohostel is the elimination of that lovely bar fronting in the river that used to be part of the property when it was called the Jane Hotel.
