Great staff.

The staff is great. They are present, which is required for consistency! I’ve slept well every night! And right across from the Hudson River✨ 🎶💃

Great neighborhood ✨⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very clean and easy stay. I really appreciated the luggage storage and the robes. I will warn you if you’re a light sleeper you will here every door close within 20 feet of you.

My son and I had a great time staying here. We had a private bunk bed room which is very, very small but perfectly fine if you plan to spend most of the day and evening roaming the city. The location is perfect if you’d like to explore beautiful Greenwich Village (which is a great break from overwhelming Times Square). Great places to eat and shop and hang in little parks just two blocks from the Hostel. The shared bathroom was great with private stalls. The waterfall shower was the best ever. I also lived the amazing collection of vintage hardcover books available to browse in the lobby. Obviously the place is run by a book lover. I will say that if you plan to “lounge” in your room in the evenings, it is very small and each person would have to lounge on their small bunk the whole time.

The Billionaires upstairs in the private club could spend a few bucks to buy new mattresses. In all fairness, I didn't complain or ask for a new room/bed or mattresses topper... I wouldn't be surprised if they would have been accommodating. That said, the Billionaires that owns the building could definitely afford to get new mattresses. The springs were digging into my ribcage. Regardless, i slept well and the hotel is in the middle of one of the most exclusive and happening areas of Manhattan with trains and all kinds of things to do in walking distance. I think it's the same staff as the fancy private club so you do get 5 star top of the line service. I'll leave it at that. I could say more. 4.5 starts only because of the mattress.

Tiniest room I've ever stayed in, but clean & servicable for just sleeping in, which was all we required.

The property looks like it’s been renovated recently, is clean and the staff was nice. The neighborhood is very safe and close to lots of restaurants and bars. Overall, it was a great experience.

I’d say the only thing I’d appreciate would be to keep the bathroom in better conditions, but that really relies on the guests, not on the staff. The only thing the staff could do is clean them more often, but while I was staying there I saw them cleaning both in the morning and at night. I guess this is just a message to other guests to remember that those are shared spaces and to leave the showers/sinks/ toilets as you would like to find them. The people at reception were all kind and helpful. I’d say that if you’re staying there from 2-5 days that’s okay, but if you plan to stay longer maybe search for a place with more room to spread around. The location is great, like 5 min walk to nearest bus station. 10 min walk to subway. Cute places nearby for breakfast lunch and dinner. Overall solid stay.

Cute tiny railcar like room- but cozy. Bring an eye mask the fire alarm has led lights that are kinda bright in the tiny space. Twin bed so tight for more than 1 person.
-
Small room but great for a clean bed, good shower and great location. Nice AC and fan and TV and a nice water bottle they give give. I’d defiantly stay again if going solo. My rate directly thru the hotel was cheaper than using a third party.

Great location

It was cool for solo travel. Just know that there’s no refrigerator in there and the AC is OK

It's a good stay for one night. It's near the Highline and subway station.

Very clean and cute. Extremely small but it’s ideal for a place you plan to just sleep in. I felt safe as a woman and it’s super close to everything!

The room didn't even have a private bathroom. The room was 10000 degrees. Window didn't open. Left the room / hotel in under 10 mins
