A plus is the shared kitchen has free coffee/tea, there also is a little sit-down area inside and outside. Air condition in room is efficient but loud, and if room faces the street, you will hear street noise because the A/C side panel keeps the window open. The Chelsea area is great, lots of restaurants and walkable stores. 1 minute to A/C/E subway which is awesome. Would come back here for sure, maybe asking for a room facing away from the street.

They never returned my security deposit. There was no complementary breakfast no elevators no hot water.
-
The water heater system broke and the plumber turned on the heater in the middle of summer. We could not sleep as the staff did not have the key to turn off the furnace. We were dehydrated and u had to wake up my family in the middle of the night as he was weak and fainted. We could not sleep the night and we were only provided small fans.

There was no hot water the night of our stay. The staff was super friendly, and this was not their fault. The hotel took my information and said they'd contact me about compensation; however, it has been a few days and I have not heard anything.

The room was fine, nothing spectacular. The rooms are a little dated but the facilities were clean and the AC kept the room cold. If you're mostly going to be out in the city & need a cost-conscience stay, this place is a good option.

Great boutique-style hotel bordering Chelsea, Meatpacking District, and the village.

This place is great !

El hotel muy limpio, las camas cómodas, con una cocina compartida muy bien equipada con café, te, cocholate, y leche a disposición de los huéspedes de manera gratuita. Totalmente recomendado.

Staff was very helpful, helped us with luggage as there are no elevators. Also helped us organize a shuttle to the airport. Clean rooms but you can hear people next to you + traffic/ room is quite small. But Overall great location, clean, great staff.

Unfortunately, our stay was affected by a few cleanliness issues. The floors were extremely sticky, and it seemed they had been mopped with dirty water. We ended up using wet towels to clean them ourselves. There was also a very strong detergent smell throughout the room that irritated our throats. In addition, the shower curtain had visible mold. We took photos to document these issues.

Clean room, nice staff, but unfortunately the mattress was the worst I have slept on in years. You could feel every spring with no cushion, hard to get a good night's sleep. I told the front desk, they said they plan to replace the mattresses. Hope they do!

The location was close to subway, Chelsea market and the meatpacking district. The rooms were small but it served it purpose as we didn't stay in there long beside showers and sleeping. The person checking us in was very helpful in explaining the courtyard, amenities and guided us on how the buses and subway works.

The location is amazing right next to the Hudson River, High Line, Chelsea Market, Little Island, coffee shops, etc. Walkable to everywhere and there's a subway line on the same block. The building is a 5-story walkup so know what you're getting into. Decor is vintage Hollywood and Broadway posters. The beds were not great and the rooms were tiny, but it's NYC and it was a fine trade off for us because of the location. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

-
Lots of stairs, no elevators be ready to use your leg and glute muscles.

The outdoor garden was covered in dead leaves and really needs some TLC. The staff were helpful, friendly and courteous. The room was clean and housekeeping kept the room neat and tidy.
