Good hotel, easy to get there and a perfect location

CVS next door for supply run. Multiple Subway lines nearby. Chelsea Market and High Line around the block. Walking distance to Apollo Bagels and NYU. My Teenage Kids are difficult to please but really enjoyed their stay and area. We definitely will book again.

The room was clean and the kitchen had all the useful necessities. The air conditioner worked great, plenty of places to charge electronics. The room was quiet and the property well maintained. Easy location, right next to the subway station. Easy to get around the city.

Everything was great. Clean room. Great location. However the lack of an elevator is inconvenient. Five floors without one is hard for this old woman

For the money paid I expected a better standard of nyc hotel room.

Clean and stuff very helpful

The biggest issue was that the hotel does not have an elevator. This was never made clear when I booked through Expedia, and our room was on the fifth floor. Carrying luggage up and down five flights of stairs was extremely inconvenient. The air conditioning did not work properly during the first two days of our stay, making the room very uncomfortable. The bathroom sink was also broken. I called the front desk to report it, and I was told someone would come the next day to fix it, but no one ever showed up. The building is very old and appears to be poorly maintained. The stairways constantly smelled like marijuana, which made the overall environment unpleasant. Overall, this hotel did not meet my expectations. Better maintenance, cleaner common areas, and clearer information about the lack of an elevator would have made a big difference. I would not choose to stay here again.

It was a great stay! Staff was extremely helpful!

It's ok if you just want a place to sleep for the night. It could do with a good scrub and the windows could do with a clean. Shared bathroom was pretty clean though.
-
Thought it was a good deal for location. Just go there to sleep and rest. Comes with a cute hotel cat that will want to come into your room.
-
The rooms was very congested, as in not much walking space. Location was good, near subway and bus stop. Kept luggage, however bathroom door wouldn’t fully close

Hotel was lovely! There was a beatiful cat who helped us to our rooms! I think he may have the soul of the previous landlord in his body, because he was very helpful. Amazing place very clean.

Location Staff poor, common toilets dirty
-
Service, friendly staff No elevator.
-
No elevator and shared bathrooms. In my opinion it’s worth $75 a night not $100+.
-
Location is great. Easy to get to JFK in the morning. Bed was comfortable. Staff seemed uninterested and pretty rude.

Basic hotel with minimum amenities and shared clean bathrooms, but the price was lower than others. I was looking to save money so it was a good deal for me. Well located in Manhattan. I like the hotel cat.
