This is my go-to hotel for NYC. I love everything about it. Clean, friendly, rooms are small but efficient. Great location across the street from Chelsea Market and a block from the A Train.

3 days of the same breakfast. Eggs on ice, croissants and yoghurt. No bar at hotel. The aircon is centrally controlled,couldn’t switch off. Warmest setting, blowing out cold air. Window wasn’t working… so couldn’t open in the day. Not the best places to stay. But, convenient location, friendly staff. That’s about it.

The room halls and the room smelled very musty as if there was water damage. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable. There are a lot of stairs up to the lobby. They have someone there.

Room was clean and comfy. Housekeeping was kind, thorough and prompt. Continental breakfast had a nice variety— drip coffee was really good. Helpful staff that always greeted us upon arrival and departure of hotel. Highly recommend!

The location of the hotel is great because there are so many nice places around the area. My room was small, but clean and quiet more importantly. The staff were very nice and helpful during my stay.

Such a unique and cool place. Perfect for our night out of Brooklyn to walk the Highline and Litle Island. Beautiful views and historic architecture

We love the location—close to the 14th Avenue subway station. Lobby is unique and hosts a good breakfast that comes with the room. Decor is ship-themed, with large “portholes” for windows. The hotel is quiet and the beds are comfortable. Curiously, the bathroom light never turns off fully. The bathroom is large and the shower is huge! It has the best stocked mini bar of any hotel at which I have stayed. On your second visit, they bring you a complimentary bottle of wine around 4:00 PM. The staff is very helpful, friendly, and laid back. This is now our go-to hotel for our NYC getaways.

We had a great stay at the maritime hotel. Great staff, and the room had great western views towards the Hudson (small sliver of a view of the river) and a few fantastic buildings by Heatherwick, BIG, Nouvel, and Gehry….all from our little porthole window. Breakfast was a little underwhelming, mainly cheap croissants, but the coffee was good enough. The west village is one of the best places to stay in the city and we would happily stay here again.
