The Maritime theme was apparent and comforting with staff who seemed genuinely interested in helping to make me comfortable. It was close to the venue I attended, so I was able to walk everywhere I needed to be. Thank you

I really love this place. Great location, quiet, which is a win for the area, but the gym hasn't been updated in the 10 years of going to this hotel.

Yelp reviews had us a bit worried, but they were all off base. The rom we were in was spacious, nice shower with awesome water pressure, comfy bed, and a window that opened No in room coffee but the continental breakfast was nice. We used the bikes on our last day- highly recommended

We think of the Maritime as our home-away-from home when we go to New York. We like to stay there because it is like a sanctuary in the middle of the hustle/bustle busy city activity. We hardly ever hear noise from the street nor in the hallways. Even though the hotel stays booked, it never seems like it is crowded. The staff there is beyond excellent. They make us feel like a family member visiting. They are welcoming and genuinely friendly. We are always greeted with a smile, no matter who is at the front desk. The cleaning staff is practically invisible, but when you need anything they are prompt and thorough. When we left our flight was cancelled later that day, and we were fortunate they had a room we could return to until the following day. My husband and I really miss the former restaurant, La Sirena, which was attached to the hotel until 2018. You could walk right into the bar without going outside. More recently "Catch" was in that space but not really usable from the hotel except for the "complimentary breakfast" area in the mornings. We look forward to what the renovations of the (separate) restaurant area might bring, with hopes it will once again be accessible from within the hotel. We miss the nice breakfast area and hope it will be back (or some version of it) upon our next visit. They are currently serving muffins, danish, and coffee in the lobby, but it will undoubtedly improve once they have back their space for serving continental breakfast.
