Good location, good view of the Hudson and the AC works sufficiently well. Completely ridiculous and incompetent staff--we were in a rush to get to the airport and told them so. They then lost our luggage for half an hour and claimed they were too busy to find it. We asked to see the manager and were refused and were told nothing could be done. Very unprofessional.

The girl at the front desk wasn't very helpful and eventually called her boss, who was even less helpful and quite rude. I ended up not staying there and booked the hotel right next door instead. It had a much better location, friendlier staff, and the overall experience was far better.

We were very disappointed with this hotel. It did not seem at all like a 4-star. Our room was very hot and did not get cool, We ended leaving that night because there were no other available rooms. The manager did give us our money back and allowed us to cancel for free which we really appreciated. The management team seemed a little inexperienced,

My room was extremely loud till very early in the morning. Not sure which bar the noise was coming from. The ear and lugs they provide did not help.

The staff went above and beyond to make sure my 5 year old had an incredible first trip to NYC. They pulled out all the stops…my only concern is when he realizes not all hotels are as incredible as this one. Lol!

The Standard is just perfect in every way, location, cleanliness, views, staff is wonderful... Tyriq check us in and he could not be more Helpful and kind to us... we will definitely be back before end of summer ❤️

The view from our room was out of this world. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom shower had slats so that was good to know about up front to ensure I had that, had we not it would have been an uncomfortable situation. Closet was a little small for two guests but the room totally made up for it. Shower was great. Staff SO fantastic. Restaurant and room service perfect. Location - couldn’t ask for better!! The trip was a dream and we can’t wait to stay there again
