The person in the front is not helpful at all, his giving the “ I don’t give a sh**” vibe. The room is dirty with all the pee in the toilet. I ask for another towel and the guy question us like we’re gonna steal a towel. lol. I ask for towels because the towel I have in my room is dirty. Like with all the brown stains. The elevator door took an amount of time to open and close. Overall experience not great! People that work in the place is not that friendly and accommodating.

Looked like they were renovating but overall my room was cozy, clean and updated.

Hot tub was broken, there was rotten food in the microwave, fresh coffee was roped off, random junk in hallways, when we went to front desk to tell about hot tub, there was a lady who had a family with 3 rooms and they were all dirty including urine on floors, and pubic hair in bathroom.....

We couldn't figure out how to turn on the fireplace, but since the weather was warm, we didn't need it and didn't bother the staff. Unfortunately, the hot tub broke down during our stay, so we weren't able to use it for the two days we were there. The location was excellent, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The only suggestion I have is to add a few more hooks in the bathroom area for hanging towels or clothing. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely consider returning.

Had some issues with the door locks when we arrived. The manager quickly resolved this issue and found us another room during a very busy weekend. Thank you for going on and above!

Clean, good service, over all good time.

The people working were nice enough. And our room was clean. But that's pretty much where it ended. The hot tub didn't work, and we weren't told when we checked in, we would have canceled and found another hotel that had working amenities.

The pipe burst on the hot tub during the time of our stay which was a big bummer because that’s something we look forward to at the end of running around. The hotel is under new management and they are trying to make improvements and staff was kind. The elevator was slow. No towels in pool area. Air conditioner must’ve been working too hard because the floor by it was drenched so every time you got out of bed you ended up with wet socks. The drain in the bath tub did not work properly and we booked for three guests and only had enough towels for two (I know we could’ve got more, but we shouldn’t of had to ask, because they knew how many were in that room ahead of time). None of the room doors were shut unless you shut them so that was a weird feeling checking into a room that had the door open… and we had several issues with our key. We had to walk up and down from 3rd floor at least 5 times til finally we had it figured out (and we didn’t have our phones on us so it wasn’t because of demagnetizing the keys which was super frustrating) idk if I’d return, but this place has potential, just not at our time of stay I guess. Also found it strange to have had comfort inn keys at White Pines.

Booked a room for 5 people. Room assigned could only accommodate 4. No other rooms available, as it was a holiday weekend. Hotel will not check you in early. Was told at 3pm (4pm check in time) NONE of the rooms were ready. Lines to check in were ridiculous. The phone in our room didn’t work, nor did the tv. Hotel was run down, door didn’t close, needed to be forced closed. Elevator was missing buttons but had no shortage of duct tape. Clerk was unhelpful. Ended up going to another hotel

Staff was too busy on their cellphone to check me in. The room was dirty, night stands next to bed wasn't cleaned off. The sofa had black stains all over it, the tub had standing water in it. No idea what the sticky stuff was in front of the bathroom sink, don't walk around barefoot. The only decent thing in the room was the whirlpool, but you have to manually hold the drain plug open for the water to drain. Only air was in the living room which made the bedroom very hot and difficult to sleep. Will not be staying there again, do not recommend.

Upon check in was told hotel was undergoing light remodeling for new owners. Constant noise during the day in the 3rd floor back room from fork lifts moving around, beeping constantly. used staircase entire week, never vacuumed. 1st time in room, no light bulbs in lamps and was told to go to the front desk by housekeeping, toilet began having problems flushing the 2nd day and after many discussions with staff, I borrowed their plunger to get it done myself, AFTER, they said they snaked it. It looked like my room was in the process of renovation, no pictures on walls, new bathroom tile, no towel bars to hang towels that were on the counter across from the bath, (obvious no internal inspections to ready a room for a guest is done or that would have been picked up if I was managing the place) side patio was nice until the construction noise started in the back parking lot of hotel. ALL of the staff looked unapproachable probably because they were tired of complaints with nothing they could do, being there 8 days I would smile and say Hi to the housekeeping and was lucky to get a blank stare in return. this hotel needs a lot more work to stay competitive with the 3 larger and better ones surrounding it. I stayed here a year ago and it wasn't much better at all, even under construction. I'll be at the Hampton next door.

Clean room, good breakfast, lovely staff. The hotel is undergoing renovations, which is the only reason for a less-than perfect rating. I got in late and there was no parking near the entry because of the construction waste containers taking the space. I parked in the rear, but then had to walk all the way around the building to get in the front door because all doors were locked. I had a key card from checking in earlier, but it didn’t work on the back doors at that time. This was an annoyance to an otherwise great stay.

Well, the location needs some assistance. Going through renovations, but not well organized. Some rooms are renovated, some not - problem is the staff does not know which ones are w/o physically looking at them. Should have a simple coding system. Exterior of property is horrid. Patio area needs to be "blown" and cleaned daily. Doubt its been done in months. Placement of haul away dumpster need to be more stratigic. First room we were assigned, opened drapes and view was the dumpster. Second room we moved to, toliet was broke. No maintenece on staff, moved to another room - 2 queens - no king available. The room we were finally in was clean and fine. On breakfast - well - not so good. Cold eggs and hash browns were not even cooked. Won't be going back. Staff was nice, but struggling.
-
We had booked online, since we did that they gave away our king room for a queen because they were “overbooked”. Room was clean, but they don’t have cleaning services. We only saw one worker the whole time.

This property was a great value. There were a few very minor things, but for the price it was definitely worth the very small inconveniences. We would stay again for sure!
