The Hollywood Franklin Hotel near Universal Studios

Hidden away from traffic as its interior facing rooms. Too bad the gym is in an awkward location with poor ventilation.

Really liked the overall look and feel of the hotel. Staff were helpful. The location was amazing! Attached diner was really good. Didn’t appreciate the $49.50 per night parking but it is what it is in L.A.

The only negative was getting hit with an extra $50 per night, $40 for parking and $10 service fee. The room was large, bed was very comfortable, very good coffee machine. An added bonus was the restaurant (home made style bread). The hotel also has easy access to the freeway.

I don’t think I’ll ever stop staying here. The view from the Hollywood Sign Room is spectacular. The amount of awesome spots in walking distance, the adorably designed rooms, the delicious diner attached (with the most AMAZING selection of pastries in LA -if you ask me-get the ginger scone if nothing else-you won’t regret it) all so worth the price. Only negative I’ll note is the shower (I’ve stayed in 3 separate rooms at this point) definitely leaves something to be desired…the water pressure is so sad. But certainly not a deal breaker for me.

The room was nice. Some staff very friendly. During our stay the elevator was down. Also rooms are not cleaned daily has to be done by request. One gentleman was super nice helped us ubderstand where we were and how to get places. Tv was very big and great selection of channels. The location of this hotel centra you almost in the middle of every place you want to go and see.

Nothing was a deal breaker, i enjoyed my stay in overall.

The hotel is located in Hollywood, an easy walk to the Walk of Fame and other icon Hollywood sites. N/a

Air conditioning in the room barely kept up. The rest of the hotel seemed to have nonAC.

My stay was mainly for business, but a perfect location from every place I needed to go and be. The staff was super helpful and friendly. The diner attached I ate at everyday was a amazing. I loved my room, the space & decor were great, especially as a movie buff. Overall, can't wait to stay again.

The diner attached to the restaurant is fantastic (highly recommend the French toast!) The location is also great and central with the Walk of fame being walking distance away and other major sites a quick drive.

The room was fantastic. Really well laid out and superbly comfortable. On top of that, it was well equipped and tastefully decorated. Great pool too. Also, the Hollywood sign was behind the hotel, admittedly a distance away. A walk into the Hollywood Walk of Fame was only around 10 minutes away. Best thing - go to the Funko store - you will not be disappointed. Everything was fantastic. On-site diner and great hotel pool.
