The Hotel Hollywood

A shout out to the staff who made me feel welcome and were very helpful.

The location is great within walking distance to Avalon and The Pantages Theater. There's no on-site parking so you have to use overnight public parking down the block. There's 3 around the same block but make sure to ask what the gate hours are and how much they charge so you don't over pay or you can't get out when you want. Overall the hotel is fine for a one or two night stay nothing fancy but decent.

It was clean No parking, not really a standard hotel property.

Excellent location for visiting Hollywood. Staff extremely courteous. Room was modest but very clean. The vintage vibe and the proximity to all the place I planned to visit

The Room, and bathroom was quite nice! Locked door made us feel safe. Close to Hollywood Boulevard. Water dispenser. Could have had small kitchen equipment, but got paper on request.

The room was clean and nice The parking was bad...always had to worry about paying the parking every 2 hrs...

Receptionist at check in does not belong in a customer facing role. Guy responded to questions in a “Lurch Like” cadence. Hotel room had an overwhelming odor of some kind of air freshener that my wife tried to disable to no avail by unplugging the unit from the outlet. Spent a relatively sleepless night due the most uncomfortable mattress we’ve ever experienced. Booked the room as we were attending a Hollywood Bowl concert that evening and did not want to drive home to Ontario. Big mistake.

Only positive was the location. Thin walls, lumpy bead, super tiny hostital style stay room. Zero view of anything. No elevator no help with luggage. You have to pay to park 2 blocks away. False advertising, rooms are awful. Homeless drug users right outside your window you can hear talking loud. I asked to just stay 1 night after accidently booking 2 nights and was denied. Scummy hotel.

I love how quiet it was ( it's in Hollywood) . The rooms are charming and great for the price Not very many things were dislikable

Small rooms but had all we needed. Walking distance to places we wanted to see was a plus. Eating places close by

The room was clean and is near the Hollywood Bowl for concert goers. I called the hotel twice and left messages both times but did not get a call back.

Situated very centrally and in close proximity to all of the local attractions, ideal place for city hopping

Water in my shower was cold
