Trylon Hotel - Hollywood

Easy to find, gave me a free night

I loved the location!! Only a few blocks from the Hollywood stars on the ground and a few blocks away from great restaurants! As a solo female traveler I felt safe here. Not loud in the hotel even during the weekend. They clean your room everyday. The price was great but you get what you pay for. If you want luxury don't come here. Anyways, I will be back! There were ants in the bathroom. I used bleach spray from dollar tree to kill them. The place is not a luxury place. It needs updating but it was a good price and I felt safe here.

The location It’s a bit tired and in need of some refurbishment

Pleasant

Comfortable and efficient The key could work better with entrance door.

Good location Parking is paid

Location, the room was clean and comfy! Our flight got canceled with Delta so we arrived late granted it was getting close to 2:00 in the morning I think the front desk guy was probably asleep and he didn't know that I had booked, he gave us the key and told us good night when he took us to the room we kind of wanted to go to convenience store but since we had no water or anything but wouldn't ask anything like that, the next morning check out time was 11 coffee maker didn't work went and told him went and took a shower still hadn't brought me one then I went and found him again he said did I check the plugs I suggest I checked them all then he went into another room and got me a coffee pot, so I could have my coffee over all the hotel is very quaint and very clean and in a good location,, I do know it was late when we checked in but I do still think the staff could have been a little more friendly I was in the restaurant and service industry with a motel next to where I was for over 20 years, but I still would recommend this hotel, for the location alone real close to the Hollywood Walk of Fame, not so good at a spur of the moment thing Delta couldn't find any hotels nearby so I had to go on booking.com and find us one or we would have had no place to stay, so it all worked out in the long run

Location

Location was great. Luggage storing was free. Tv did not run, lady from reception said it will be fixed but it did not, mattress was dirty as h… (Disgusting) The whole hotel is quite old and the smell is weird.

Exceptional

The location, the staff, the room, the ac unit, was louder, but work fine.

Superb

I have stayed at this hotel several times since 2010 and each time has been an exceptional experience, not only because of the staff, but the room cleanliness and also the location of the hotel itself for the events that I participate in in Los Angeles.

We found that our room was bug infested and asked to get a new room. Our new room’s door frame was broken that we couldn
