Gorgeous decor, extremely courteous staff, feels like a little oasis of old Hollywood luxury

Staff was great. Room was excellent - loved the huge shower. Only negative was the mosquitos - you had to open and close your door super fast or else they would get in your room.

A lovely place to stay. Beautiful, comfortable room, charming breakfast set in an opulent space or sit and relax or read in the courtyard. The property offers a wonderful peaceful retreat close to the hubbub of Hollywood Walk of Fame. A most convenient location for Hollywood Bowl events, a 15 minute walk away, and walking is the best option since that venue gets swamped with traffic. A great value for a distinctive hotel. Everyone on the staff was most kind and helpful. Highly recommended!

The level of service and attention to detail rivals some of the world’s best luxury hotels, yet at a fraction of the price. The location is excellent, and the overall value is simply outstanding. We couldn’t recommend this hotel highly enough and will gladly stay here again.

The coffee was excellent and pastries were delicious. The decor though! This place is a Hollywood dream. I’d live here if I could. Absolutely incredible.

Kiki and her staff were on point. We also stayed in a different room, the James Dean. If you are looking for something quaint peaceful away from the Hollywood strip, The Prospeft is the place.

The staff (actually one person per shift who takes care of the front desk, valet parking, room delivery of any wants or needs, etc.) was most welcoming and made a point of addressing us by name each time they saw us. The room was beautifully assigned and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it!

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and had a great experience. The staff were all very friendly, the rooms were clean, and the location was excellent. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to LA!!

My wife and I stayed a few days and it was a wonderful little hotel. Staff was super nice and helpful, room was great and there is a courtyard with a couple of faux fireplaces where we would pour a cocktail in our room and go chill after a day of doing activities.

​If you are planning a trip to Los Angeles, look no further. The Prospect Hollywood is, without a doubt, one of the best places I have ever stayed. Period. In LA ​Finding this place felt like discovering an emerald in the middle of Hollywood. The staff here is incredible, and I have to give a special shout-out to Kim, Joclyn, and Key/Luis, who were all such amazing hosts and truly made our stay unforgettable. ​The room was nothing short of unbelievable—beautifully appointed, comfortable, and full of character. The location is perfect, situated just steps away from the El Capitan Theatre and a short distance from the iconic Hollywood Bowl. For any fellow movie buffs, this hotel is a dream come true; each room is uniquely named after a legendary movie star, which adds such a fantastic, thematic touch to the entire experience. ​Whether you are in town for a show or just looking to experience a truly special side of Hollywood, this is a must-stay. I cannot recommend it highly enough!

Kim at the desk is wonderful.

The property is a little gem in the middle of Hollywood. The courtyard is great for night or morning time, but the rooms are great. We have stayed in the room with the claw tub and kitchenette sitting area and we loved it. Can’t say enough good things about the staff. Kim providing some next level service for a vey intimate and quaint stay in Hollywood.
