Lexen Hotel- Hollywood Walk of Fame/Universal Studios

A condensing unit made horrible noise right above our room the first night. I complained the next day and they were able to turn it off. We will not stay here again. You can stay anywhere and take the Metro close to this area.

The good: Hotel is close walking distance to Hollywood Bowl, Metro Station, and Hollywood Blvd landmarks. Our room had two separate bedrooms and two separate bathrooms, so ideal for friends not trying to share beds / bathrooms. The daily parking fee is fair compared to other hotels in the area.

It was nice. No window so it was kinda hot.

We were there 1 night for a concert at the Hollywood Bowl. It’s a perfect location. It was only a 7-10 minute walk to the bowl.

Very cozy and clean, staff was very helpful and courteous. There were lots to do and see within walking distance. Venice Beach 1hr away, we spent the day there Will definitely go back again.

Hotel bed was comfy. Room was clean. No Ice machine that is accessible to guests. The only employee at the front desk has to go upstairs to give you ice. Parking is a disaster. Less parking spots than there are rooms. Handicap parking was unavailable due to employee parking there. We probably won’t stay there again.

Place was clean enough -- and you can't get any closer to the Hollywood Bowl, walk was 7 minutes door to door: SUPER convenient vs. trying to park around there. But for $300/night, we'd have expected a softer mattress, a window that's not abutting a run-down apartment wall, and I don't know, even a single bottle of water?

Parking lot IS small but there were plenty of spaces. Don’t let the reviews scare you off The room was nice and spacious. This will definitely be our go to stay when in Hollywood!

A little old but funky and cool , parking tight but doable. Super nice staff , and if you go to Hollywood Bowl for a concert you will be pleased to stay here. This will be my go to spot .

The location was perfect for the concert at the Hollywood bowl. Parking was easy and private. The room was exceptionally clean, beautifully furnished, and spacious. The front desk was incredibly kind, welcoming, and responsive. Nothing.

The hotel itself was extremely disappointing. The parking lot is ridiculously small and poorly designed. There is barely enough room to maneuver, and the parking situation essentially requires cars to be double-parked—one vehicle behind another. It felt more like trying to park in a cramped residential lot than at a hotel. The parking area is also completely open to the street with no apparent security, which was concerning. The hotel is located directly on a busy street, and getting in and out can be difficult because traffic moves quickly right in front of the property. The surrounding area was another major issue. The hotel is situated in a neighborhood that felt run-down, with a lot of noise, people yelling outside, and homeless individuals in the area. It was not an environment where I felt comfortable or relaxed, especially at night. Although the staff was polite, they were not particularly helpful when we needed assistance. Overall, this was a very poor hotel experience. The parking is terrible, the location is uncomfortable, the area is noisy, and there is little sense of security. I would not recommend staying here, and I definitely would not choose this hotel again.
