AC Hotel by Marriott Honolulu

Nice hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Pleasant staff.

Restaurant and café were also very good and a voucher towards the purchase was generous. The only thing was that the room was set to 65-68f and not changeable (thermostat control does not work). Even when I turned off the fan, I could feel cold air coming in. So it's perfect for people who like the room to be cool. But for me, it was VERY cold.

Front desk staff was most helpful and courteous. Could have had more variety for breakfast buffet, avocado toast was not toasted, fruit selection not refilled or local. Dinner was surprisingly good. Fish and chips excellent. Bed too soft, lack of cabinets or shelves, bathtub stopper broken.

This is a nice hotel. Its location is convenient but it’s not grand…but that’s ok. I don’t like the trend in hotels to have vinyl floors. In a hotel room, I prefer carpet for some reason…it just feels more cozy. It was very clean and the bathroom was modern. There were no amenities other than two bottles of spring water…which was very welcome. The staff is fantastic!

Room was adequate. Very modern, tv excellent, coffee shop supurb,restaurant very good. Location perfect to explore the city, close to water, queen's palace, old court house, Chinatown, modern art museum. Lots of small eating restaurants of various ethnic groups, bus service close. People at hotel were wonderful. Close to port, almost walking, if you are cruising.

Carlo was amazing when we were having breakfast and dinner. He was constantly helping us out and making sure that our meal experience was excellent. Nalu at the front desk was constantly helping us with places to go and see. He was also super kind when we were checking in. Both of these guys were an excellent reason why will use the hotel in the future.

The rooms were nice with comfortable beds. Staff were terrific. When I had an issue they were on it immediately. It is also in Downtown Honolulu, away from the noise of the tourist zones, so much quieter. We were there on a Saturday and Sunday and the downtown was virtually empty and all stores/restaurants were closed. It is a virtual food desert on a weekend.

Property was well maintained and very clean. Staff were attentive. Located downtown, not so nice area. But I guess that is beyond the property’s control.
