A Marriott All Star for sure!

double charged my reservation

A different location than my first visit to Honolulu 2.5 years ago. The Marriott was chosen for proximity to ship pier for island cruise booked booked at beginning of this year. I did like the restaurant facility and service provided during our stay - especially with the adverse weather from Hurricane Lulu outer bands that impacted Oahu Island late Saturday and most of Sunday. We needed to extend our stay an extra day due to port being closed and cruise ship unable to leave on scheduled day. Found a nice Irish Pub just a few blocks from hotel, that served up some good food. Suggest visitors use registered taxi service from or to airport. Uber charged 60% more in fare, than taxi. The seating area for food and drink was very comfortable. Very good service by wait staff on hand. No real complaints to mention.

All was well! Not to far from the Airport,the pier was very close( Cruise ships)!

Let me just say, make sure you’re tracking exactly what you’re paying for. I was wrongfully charged twice while staying there. Make sure you’re tallying up all of your expenses and look at the amount before you wipe your card.

The location

There is an elegant simplicity in the hotel, both in the public staves and in the private room. The staff was uniformly gracious and competent.

Breakfast was great food was tasty and the coffee good. We were surprised how much we loved the room and the rain water shower head was my favorite. I was also impressed with how comfortable the bed was after traveling from New Mexico to Honolulu we needed that bed. Thanks to the staff for being so helpful and polite. Really can’t think of anything I picked this place for the location on Bishop st and how close it was to the Norwegian harbor. I would stay again just for the location.

Nice hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Pleasant staff.

Restaurant and café were also very good and a voucher towards the purchase was generous. The only thing was that the room was set to 65-68f and not changeable (thermostat control does not work). Even when I turned off the fan, I could feel cold air coming in. So it's perfect for people who like the room to be cool. But for me, it was VERY cold.
