The staff was friendly, the room was nice and clean.

Popular place. Busy during check-in. Check-in personnel were very helpful, The only glitch was booking my parking permit. The clerk charged me for only one day. I almost had to pay an extra $20 for the next day. Luckily, I was able to reverse my car from a one-way route and was able to prepay for my parking for the rest of my stay. Basement parking can reach its limit at night. My room was neat, clean and ready for use. The elevators can develop a waiting line. We enjoyed our stay at the Ala Moana Hotel and its easy access to the Ala Moana Shopping Center. The Ala Moana Beach is directly across the hotel. I recommend staying at this hotel. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. In-house Starbucks, market store, and free lobby entertainment.

No direct beach access, but Parking, eating, shopping, all easy and convenient. Very nice and friendly staffs in the hotel. If you plan to have rental car and moving/touring around the island. It will be one of the good one.

Front desk people not very friendly

I paid $25 more per night and had the best experience of our lives. It was an absolute beautiful property.

Definately the best place to stay!

The hotel itself was just ok, we tried two of the restaurants and neither were good. They also seemed a bit stingy with towels and pillows. Our keys stopped working the day before we checked out and the line to get new ones was super long so we ended up having security let us into our room for the night. We called down to the front desk for assistance and no one ever answered the phone. After spending close to an hour dealing with the keys on our last night, we just gave up and ended up leaving earlier than we wanted to since we knew we couldn't get back into our room. Everyone we encountered was very nice just seemed unorganized.

I like the view and the location.

The Alamoana is an older hotel that has had some updates but still shows signs of wear and tear. The bed was ok but nothing exceptional. I tried to reach the front dest on multiple occasions and could not get anyone to answer. I was great full to have it for a last minute availability close to the medical center where my wife was a patient. Over all I would rate it as average. I would say the employees I did interact with were very pleasant.

Great room with a coffee maker and Lion’s coffee, a microwave, and a nice small fridge!

Great place. Overall happy with the stay. Elevators were a bit crowded.

Check in wait was miserable not enough staff waited almost an hour just to check in
