Great service and food

The only thing I wasn't happy about, is when I booked a ocean view king bed room, the picture showed a couch , I got put into a room that is used for a connection to a 2 bedroom suite, which was small and had no couch. I was looking forward to sitting there due to back problems.

Great trip

Well maintained and beautiful hotel. A comfortable easy chair in the room would have been appreciated. Infinity pool water was dirty. Hotel could use more elevators. Comfortable beds. Helpful staff

Not bad

One negative: We stayed July 4 and were forced to use valet parking due to the hotel hosting some concerts. We would have self parked, but were forced to valet, cover the price difference and felt obliged to tip. If the hotel is hosting ancillary events that impede on guest experience, the hotel should eat that cost. Aside from that, we loved our stay, even if a short one.

One thing to keep in mind is that parking is not included with your stay and must be paid for separately, which is something to factor into the overall cost. One big concern was the snacks on the 5th floor. We came across moldy bread, which was definitely concerning. I would think the staff would check the food before putting it out, especially considering this is not a cheap hotel. I loved that we could grab coffee every morning from Honolulu Coffee without having to leave the hotel. The lines can get long, but the service is fairly quick. The staff, overall, were not very welcoming and often seemed serious. However, on Monday, June 29, there was an older woman who was incredibly friendly and welcoming. She really stood out and made us feel appreciated. One other issue was that the body wash in our room was never refilled, so we ended up not having any during our stay. We also requested a later check out and our key cards aren't working. The front desk never mentioned anything about need to change keys cards if we had a later check out and now we're outside our rooms having to go back downstairs and change our key cards. And they were making it complicated because they wanted my drivers license e

I would recommend this to all my family and friends

Our stay at the Prince Waikiki was amazing! The hotel was absolutely beautiful and looked exactly like the photos. The service was exceptional—everyone was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The ocean views were incredible and made our stay even more special. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Good place to stay

This is my 2nd visit to the Prince Waikīkī. Close to the Ala Moana Mall, and beach. The staff was very friendly and kept us feeling like “royalty”. The outdoor pool is a definite Instagram moment and the 100 Sails restaurant is a worthy experience. All in all, looking forward to visit number 3. Aloha!

Prince is our top spot to stay at when we’re vacationing in Honolulu! Hotel, premises, amenities (pool, jacuzzi and an infinity pool overlooking the harbor; also, a gym, which is a MUST for us to keep our consistent fitness routine) are all five-stars. Also, given it’s a Japanese hotel brand, toilets are equipped with the TOTO bidet seats so our tushies get the royal treatment here every time. :) Staff are very helpful as well. Location is midway between Waikiki and Ala Moana and while we also like staying at the Hilton Hawaiian Village, we find that Prince is just quieter and less hectic.

While an der hotel like all in Honolulu, the property is well maintained with a certain Hawaiian charm.

I liked the l Iocation & the hotel was beautiful!

I had an issue with my first room and its cleanliness, I won’t say what it was but it was highly disappointing! They gave me a new room that was upgraded and took off two days of resort fees. I honestly should have asked for more off. The food was about a 3/5 the drinks were a 4/5 and The pool and hot tube were like a 4.5/5. The front desk clerks weren’t super big on consistency with customer service. For some patrons they gave the full details of the property and where to find things, for me they did not! I got sort of lost finding my room and by the time I found the elevator I was too frustrated to ask them for anything else. Kid friendly tho!
